Its so loud because the db killer has been removed. To loud for my taste.
I bought an SV 1000S with Yoshimura single Tri-Oval Titanium, and it feels like it has less power then it should, especially when the db killer is inserted.
hey that's how mine sounds... i have the same mods except my bike is black with the carbon fiber can.. also K&N air... sounds like a crazy suped up camaro when you lay into the throttle... and did you have the blue SV1000 grip on the throttle? lol i have that on mine only on the throttle... left grip is still black
yes you can gut the can out but i would never you would loose power in the end the packing inside also help the flow run out the Can better, my bike is that loud because im running aftermarket Cams

I have a naked sv1000 with a RS3 Carbon Fiber can that ROCKS! Everyone looks...was that harley?...NOT I stripped mine to Huligan style "F" the man!

how in the heck did you get it so loud? Can bike exhausts be "gutted" to help make louder like cars can..?
