Ah, taking video from the mini-high platform I see. I was there yesterday but I couldn't film from that platform since I would get a face full of snow every time a train goes by (it blows off the canopy)
Why don't the Commuter Rail trains on the Providence/Stoughton Line stop at Readville? Only the Commuter Rail trains on the Franklin Line stop there. Why is that?
Hey! I like your work and I see you do mostly MBTA Commuter Rail and Amtrak. Have you thought about filming the MBTA Subway lines(Red Line, Orange Line, Blue Line and Green Line?
I think that the MBTA has rules prohibiting filming within the subways and stations. I got in trouble a few years ago for taking pictures in South Station's waiting room and then again in Arlington Street Station. I was kind of suprised, but maybe there is a reason.
I bet they require a more serious reason for picture taking than fun with YouTube. I suppose there are privacy concerns too. If I get pictures of their patrons and put them on the internet I suppose somebody might get pissed, somebody that likes to get pissed about nothing. Then said pissed person might get a lawyer and hold up the MBTA for multiple thousands of dollars.

Must not be enough people that want to go south from Readville to make it practical. You'd have to ask somebody at the T.

I hear some kind of GP engine in the background at 32 seconds, was there a commuter train stopping there when that acela passed?

Could be. Can't remember. There was another line behind me and in front of me and probably over me. Lots of railroad activity in this place.

There may be ways to film if you do it outside of the stations.

MBTA does have rules. You need to have a photo Permit in order to take pictures on their property.

You do? I took pictures at Back Bay Station twice and no one ever told me I needed a permit to do it.
