@tsetijger Thank you.  He's a russian blue dumbo, Brouillard is his name. He had an eye injury as a youngun so that is why one eye is smaller.

very cool. crazy you have so many. wife and i are both drs., i got her pet ratties yrs ago when she did her phd and had to do mouse research, she'd come home sad. now as an md/phd she only does human research. anyways we've had 13 ratties over the last decade, our oldest girls made it to just shy of 4yrs old! generally we roll 2 to 3 at a time, lately boys cause they're cuddle lazy easy. as a 37yr old dr. and tattooed biker, i can say wife and i love ratties, they're like mini dogs. awesome vid!

@mikartmilo He never had a problem when he was younger he climbed all over the place. His original owner made sure to take the ladders out of the cage when he was a baby so he could learn how to get around without them by climbing the cage walls.

aw am so jealous, of all your darlings and the awsome cages. I have four rats but three of them are no where near as tame as these, will eat from my hand and sit on my knee but are to jumpy. they are adopted so taking my time with them. great vid

I am saving up to get the type of cages you have for my girls. I can't wait to get them and deck them out with toys. I already have a bunch of ferret stuff for cages but I use it for my rats. They love their little hammocks and cubes.

@ClockworkContessa The FN and CN are awesome cages, having them on wheels makes it much easier to roll them outside and clean. Make sure to replace those cheap plastic wheels with metal ones from Home Depot or Lowes. The plastic ones break at awkward times.

@dara363 Not bad fights no, but they would fight if the cages got mixed up. You have to raise them as babies together or do proper introductions before putting rats together.

I love your rats :) I used to have rats too and they were so adorable and tame. The used to follow me and jump on my back when I was cleaning their cage and then crawl on my shoulder (good memories :P) but now I am getting gerbils. Do you have any experience with gerbils? and can they become as tame as rats can?

@TheAnimalMiss some people say Gerbils can be tamed, but in my experience they are more of a "visual" pet. I've owned them before, they are less likely to bite then your average hamster.

@MegaCrazySim Boys aren't obsessive groomers like females. Sometimes they don't look as "put together" but they are clean. Plus males have much coarser coats that females so it tends to not look quite as pretty.
