And people that make dubstep music are either called artists or producers, not bands. Dubstep started in the early 2000's and you couldn't listen to at the time unless you were at one club where it was played. It was not on the internet or radio at that time. @Jacksown I used to go to underground clubs in the mid to late 90s and they played the first stages of dubstep, so it basically was formed in the 90s, but didn't get recognized till 2000s. I said bands mainly because back in the day they were a singer, sometime a drummer and a guy on the electronics, it had a nice grime reggae sound. I didn't mean to put bands but since I was thinking about the past and was what I wrote.
@Jacksown no it was dubstep, i travel to london a lot, and I think it was 97 and i went over the for my 4th time and each time i went there dubstep came more and more a genre of its own, by 98 i think thats when it got its name. It was Zed Bias, Oris Jay, and another guy that i cant remember his name, that basically started dubstep in 1998, then in 2004ish Benga and Skream, Digital Mystikz (Mala and Coki) and another artists made it more known and 2005-to present day it grew greatly each year.

@Grapehunter420 Those who can appreciate and know what real dubstep will carry it on. There have been genres that have spawned from dubstep, but have not taken anything worthy from it. I'd say that's good, dubstep has stayed relatively underground minus rusko going mainstream. It'll cycle back through to the legit artists. Kromestar and Xtrakta are are good examples.

To be honest I prefer skream or benga for uk bass or even something like drumcorps or venetian snares just in general, heard something called aquadrop that isn't bad but If I don't keep replying then how will I know how angry you are about people who disagree with you on trivial issues that don't have anything to do with you or your life serving cheeseburgers and asking people if they like french fries?

@Grapehunter420 Those who can appreciate and know what real dubstep will carry it on. There have been genres that have spawned from dubstep, but have not taken anything worthy from it. I'd say that's good, dubstep has stayed relatively underground minus rusko going mainstream. It'll cycle back through to the legit artists. Kromestar and Xtrakta are are good examples.
