I'm all about efficient vehicles and all but I think it would be great if the government would allow car manufacturers to make another all out brute muscle car like they did in the 60's and 70's. Yes it wouldn't be as efficient as a fuel injected but make something for a reasonable price that guys could work on in their own garage again.

Sure a import can turn a corner faster but think about this.... by the time the import leaves the line the American Muscle will already be at the first turn. Then by the time the Import reaches the first turn the American Muscle will have made 3 more turns... so in the end i guess i will take American Muscle over Imports. 5 mpg vs 30mpg or 600hp vs 200hp.... yea 5 mpg and 600hp is about right for me.

The American cars in this video are only good for straight line acceleration. Japanese cars are fast AND take corners fast also. Those big blown motors on the American cars are very fast but also very heavy.

Rice isnt every honda, Acura, Toyota, ex..Rice is the car with the face chrome door trim, or the stick on hood scoop, or the stick on turbo sign when its clearly not turbo, or the lowered civic with 20" wheels and rally stripes.. that is rice. They made around 500 of them, just enough to be allowed into NASCAR races until they were outlawed for being too fast. This was Dodge's improved aerodynamic design over the Dodge Charger Daytona to give them the advantage again over the Ford Torino Talladega. Sure a import can turn a corner faster but think about this.... by the time the import leaves the line the American Muscle will already be at the first turn. Then by the time the Import reaches the first turn the American Muscle will have made 3 more turns... so in the end i guess i will take American Muscle over Imports. 5 mpg vs 30mpg or 600hp vs 200hp.... yea 5 mpg and 600hp is about right for me.
