Dont forget about Marco who has a great voice for this band and is a fantastic bassist. As a whole, Nightwish made NIghtwish. But Tarja was the icon. I would be more than willing to bet that her leaving had nothing to do with anything other than publicity. She will be back. Make certain of that.

@NovaBiscuit The last I heard, Tarja and Tuomas weren't even on speaking terms, and haven't been since she was fired from the band. I would love for them to realize that neither of them is as great without the other, but there seems to be too much animosity for that to happen anytime soon. So I just enjoy Tarja's solo stuff, Nightwish with Anette, and be glad for all the great music they made together.

I have never listened to this band much as I generally find myself listening to heavier music, but recently I have followed this story and listened to a bunch of songs from their diff time periods.
