@EuskalHerriaEH There are several layers (two for fixing each helix, one foreground masking the anchor points, etc.), and the rotation point of each helix differs (one is displaced on the right, and the other on the left). The way to bind the helix with paper anchor only are from traditional pop-up techniques. As for the rendered effect, well, yes i do admit it's not quite clear ;-)
Yes, the effect is not quite clear here, but how did you did that double-weel with paper?
