I agree with all you are saying. I ask that you add that all horse and 4-H people are not like this. I am a horse rider and trainer that was taught by team ropers. I have found that being taught by them and the like has given me an even more intense look into that world seeing that we were not only taught how to but were on many occasions made to rope calves. It was to great dismay to me and all in my family. So I'm asking you to put the responsible riders at ease and set the record straight.
What you have videotaped IS animal cruelty; the horse w/2 broken legs being dragged, the horse being shocked in the face, kicking the calf; I agree w/what you are stating. However, your phone calls sound staged. All the men have the same 1. accent 2. message 3. language & references. It sounds like 3 or 4 of the same people each time reading off a cue card. If this is real, I apologize. If it's staged to make a point, you don't need it, your viewers get the message from your videos.

Animal abuse is wrong. That being said, maybe you need to dig a little deeper and stop taking the easy way out by just going to an advertised rodeo. Go take a look at what well intentioned people are "saving" and putting in their back yards. I've been called many times to evaluate horses and the best thing they can do is put the poor horses down. They're crippled, diseased, malnourished, etc. And this by the people "saving" them. I had to unplug my brother. A horse deserves respect too.
We know well what's happening to animals across the country and world. We also know that you were not with us standing in the pouring rain documenting pigeon shoots, nor does your page show any 'easy way out' rodeo footage of abuse, or any from what your post claims. @SHARKonlineorg the animals in our rodeos and keep them healthy so we can continue to use them. i love animals and i would never try to harm any of them. i am a proud horse owner and ride them only for leisure. they are not used in any way when i compete yet i still keep them healthy and in a safe and comfortable enviornment. an accident in rodeo is no different than in any other sport. rodeo cowboys and spectators alike hate to see both contestants and animals in the rodeo injured in any way

I challenge any of these callers to take a psychiatric examination and answer the questions honestly as they are forced to confront the cruelty of their lifestyle by watching some of these videos showing the suffering of these innocent creatures. I agree with all you are saying. I ask that you add that all horse and 4-H people are not like this. I am a horse rider and trainer that was taught by team ropers. I have found that being taught by them and the like has given me an even more intense look into that world seeing that we were not only taught how to but were on many occasions made to rope calves. It was to great dismay to me and all in my family. So I'm asking you to put the responsible riders at ease and set the record straight.

What you have videotaped IS animal cruelty; the horse w/2 broken legs being dragged, the horse being shocked in the face, kicking the calf; I agree w/what you are stating. However, your phone calls sound staged. All the men have the same 1. accent 2. message 3. language & references. It sounds like 3 or 4 of the same people each time reading off a cue card. If this is real, I apologize. If it's staged to make a point, you don't need it, your viewers get the message from your videos.

@wizz0624 Hunting or fishing includes swift kills (unless from where you come people like to torture animals before killing them?), whereas what SHARK is trying to prove includes provoking animals that are naturally innocent and understanding to do things they usually wouldn't do. You do have a point - there are some rodeos that take great care of their animals and include great people. I've been in several. But your comparison to hunting/fishing and animal cruelty was just one big fail.

Some horses are legitimately abused and there are more people than rodeo horses that are abused daily. Horses need someone to speak up for them and they DO but when a human being sees another human being beaten they turn a blind eye and ignore it. It has been our belief in Wyoming that the BLM was all for the Wolf because he would end the Wild Horse Problem. Rodeo is what put's donations in Your plate. There are two kinds of people in this World Producers and Parasites. Defenders of Wildlife spend no money on the Wildlife that the Wolf has eaten. Animal abuse is wrong. That being said, maybe you need to dig a little deeper and stop taking the easy way out by just going to an advertised rodeo. Go take a look at what well intentioned people are "saving" and putting in their back yards. I've been called many times to evaluate horses and the best thing they can do is put the poor horses down. They're crippled, diseased, malnourished, etc. And this by the people "saving" them. I had to unplug my brother. A horse deserves respect too.

My intent was not to imply that what I do is more important, but that you may not be looking at well intentioned people who are causing horses pain while trying to save them. Some do help, but many others cause more abuse. Many times in efforts to make money. No need to defend yourself. I offer no attack.
