Stacey was incredibly talented, but she fucked herself royally with her god-awful albums, which didn't sound good then and don't now. And they all sounded the same: Flat, Hi-NRG production that was already outdated, and her Baby Doll voice, which sounds so phony.
This performance, however, rocks hard, and still holds up two plus decades later. Why couldn't her albums sound like this (read: raw voice, live instruments)? Would've helped her career in the long run, cause the girl had mad talent.
