  • How come i put in alpine spr-50 and spr 60c and i only hear sound and no bass? all my bass are from my subs and if i turn my subs down theres no bass. the old speakers before i upgraded had more bass. is that suppose to happen?

  • @b3rs3rk3ring Please help me too, same thing happened to me i have no bass coming out from my new alpine speakers

  • 2 questions.....i just got the type s 6.5s for christmas and was wondering how the sound quality was and if they put out a decent amount of bass........2nd of all are those type s 6x9s? and if so do you like em?

  • @RareBreedRacing Hey, there are a good upgrade from factory Speakers, I no longer have these but they did do there job and made the music sound good. Please see my new Videos...

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • Looks like you installed the rear speakers behind the factory grilles, then bolted the alpine grilles over the top of the factory grilles.....and the front speakers appear to be mounted to the door card.....not being rude, but why would you do that? They look horrible.

You will get much better performance if you bolt the speaker directly to the door, and while you are at it put a piece of dynaxorb behind it too.

The BEST stereo installs are the ones you cannot see.

  • @jkulhanek LOL! Have you read the description or seen any of my new videos LMAO!

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • are these the ones that filter out the bass?

  • @jason1160 If you get an amp yes.

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • @BoxerMuscleMilk are these better then the performance technik 3ways?? im thinking about swapping to these alpines because im always blowing up speakers due to bass

  • @BoxerMuscleMilk How do i get bass with an amp??? i got alpine spr 60c speakers and spr 50c but it has no bass at all :((

  • How is the bass on these speakers ?

  • @xKevx1 Not bad, but I have not these for a long time, Better to get at least a sub woofer for real sound.

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • Thanks for the help! do you recommend any thing else for them?

  • @tylerpotfora93 Nope!

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • hey i just bought some alpine type s! do i really need a deck? cause all i really want is the amp?

  • @tylerpotfora93 The S sereis will be fine on your factory deck and no need for an amplifier.

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • @boxermusclemilk will you do a install video on this please? showing how there wired from deck to amp to speaker

  • @ogthugster94 Haha, I would if I has time my man, Not even done my install at all, look at my new Videos, I have everything type X and over 6 PDx amps LOL!!!!

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • @BoxerMuscleMilk

    alright thanks man

  • Wait so are you over-powering them since the amp is 100 W rms @ 4 ohms and the speakers are 80 and 85 rms?

  • @kevnz88 No, The amp is 150 RMSx4 and I dont have the gain Cranked up you silly little goose.

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • @BoxerMuscleMilk Oh okay. I'm new to this amp stuff and trying to learn more cuz I'm looking to upgrade my system soon.

  • I just picked up four 6x8 Type-Rs for 250 and change, cant wait to install them. Now I need to pick up another Amp.

  • @raceguy514 Nice my man!

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • How much is the difference between ampilified speakers and deck powered ??

  • @nevermiss01 There is a difference but you would need a better speaker. Its like trying to run a sub off of your deck, it just wont work and be like crap LOL.

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • Alpine tyPe x

  • @nevermiss01 ...?

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • what kind of amp are you using ?

  • @JeremiahTM Hey, at this time I was using the MRP-F550 Alpine 2/3/4/ channel amp.

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • how much did all that coast ???

  • @zaz0ooo Some where like $500 for all 4 speakers and amp + whatever the install was back then. Please see my new videos.

  • @BoxerMuscleMilk Thanks bro , i was wondering witch brand to choose but now ,I'm convinced

  • @dan0moley Haha, dont know, This was done many years ago, check out my new Type X sytem :O

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • that sounds to me prety clear.nice bro

  • i just heard these running off the head unit in best buy the 6 1/2 there loud as hell not even amplify nd clear getting these or the type rs

  • @xxshadow529 Hey, yeah, they were pretty good when I had them, If you do get the Type R's, you will need an amplifier for them because you will not be pushing them to there full potential.

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • @BoxerMuscleMilk your not running ANY speaker properly off a deck

  • @blazinloud I do not think you have read the Description bro.

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • thank you for using a real video camera...sound comes out so much clearer

  • @suppaduppa5 Haha, No problem but this video is old, if you can take the time to see my Updated Sound System with everything Type X that would be great. I am getting a new Camera thos Boxing day :)

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • @BoxerMuscleMilk yeah, i watched the video not even 5 minutes afterwards...haha. just got into car audio few weeks ago and stoked on it!! I really wanna learn how to optimize my system it surely looks like you know what you're doing after that type-x setup!! I'm trying to match a RF 250-1 with a compatible sub, I'm looking at a JL Audio Sealed Powerwedge 10" 100-300 (600 peak)...My speakers (type-s) however, are not amplified....will it be a problem?

  • @suppaduppa5 Your Type S do not have to be amplified at all, In this video I just bought the amp because it was a good Deal and for future upgrades. If you want an amp to go with your speakers, get higher end ones like Type R and what not and those do require an amplifier to power them. Your 250 RMS Amp should push that 10" JL sub good enough and you will be suprised with the out come if you never had a sub before.

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • @BoxerMuscleMilk Ok, sounds good. THanks man.

  • Is that the radio it came with cuz usually pontiacs radios are red and stuff that looks like a regualr chevy radio

  • @4cylstang Nope, it is a 99 Grand am with out the Monsoon Stereo system. Please look at my new videos.

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • What's up brother, I'm loving the setup. I am getting 4 Type S's, and I am debating if I want a Alpine or Sony Xplode deck. I plan on getting the 4-way Alpine Amp, and If i have a Sony Xplod deck, it will void the warranty to hook it up. What do you suggest?

  • @DyNaStYxJoSh If you do not have a lot money then yes, go with the Type S and get either Head unit from SONY or ///Alpine. Please look at my new video's, everything is now with PDX amps and Type x Speakers/Sub.

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • Recently bought a new Kenwood DNX7200, a smashing unit which gives out 50W per speaker.

Does installing an amp make a difference to an already aftermarket unit?

  • @FlawlessEdwardo When they say "50watts" per speaker, that is an unordinary number, it probably actually puts out 20 RMS, never go by peak power, always RMS.

Amplifers are for your Speakers and subs, the headunit just has pre out puts in them so you do not have to Bi-wire them and makes it easier along with better sound qaulity.

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • @BoxerMuscleMilk Thanks for the reply mate! I'm looking to buy x4 of these Alpine Type S speakers but is it worth buying an additional amp? Is so, which one do you recommend for these speakers?

  • @FlawlessEdwardo Hey, if you have a after market headunit (which you do) Just get the Type S and they will be good enough.

If you do want an amp, get the Type R series, for those you do need an amp because they hold more power. If you dont have an amp for the Type R's, they will sound muffles and ugly, thats why some speakers need an amplifier.

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • No new head unit? asking cus im installing similar speakers to replace the old stocks in my 08 civic, without a new head

  • @josh053 Haha! I dont think you read the Description dude, Check out my Latest Video, then you will see what a sound system should be like. Click on my Name and play the last uploaded video bro!

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • hey are those components or coaxials...

  • @Crazycaraudio All just Coaxials, Check out my Latest Video though, this one is alomost 2 years old now.

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • how much was the amp? i have to same speakers. just alot more bass cuz i run subs with them but these hit pretty nice.

  • @Robertsmormons amp was around like $300 or something like that. This video is old, check out my latest video of my Type X system!

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • sounds sweet even from the recording!! what amp did use again?

  • @MrWhitesoxxx Hey, Thanks but this video is pretty old, See my new one, I was using the MRP-F550 but you can just use the MRP-F300 and they will sound great.

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • Damn dude u move around back and forth tweaker status

  • @Silencio775 Hey, what do you mean man? This video is about 3 years old now, I have everything Type X with PDX Amps, no more upgrading this system for me, this is almost as good as it gets :)

  • отлично

  • cool

  • u r so gay!!!!.....get 6 by 9 in bk homo

  • @AlexanderLeDoux Haha, you a Child dude, Look at my other Video's, Everything is Type X, better than your GAY ass speakers, Type X owns whatever you have in anyway.

And you call me Gay? you are a Child, and you are the only one who had said a Comment like that, your really cool dude, hope something bad happens to you.

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • what kind of amp is that? i was thinking of doing a type s system. yea i know type r or x is better but i got a reg cab truck lol i like my hearing i just want it to be crystal clear like yours

  • @iridecr80 Hey, go with the Type S if you want to save some money, if you do want Type R and up, you do want a a Amplifier to power and set the Crossover Correctly, S will be good and stable for what you need it to do.

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • @BoxerMuscleMilk thanks!

  • do a different song the baby

  • those r pussy shit get the type x's like me bought six

  • @CHARLEYGPIANOMUSIC Bro... Look at my newer vids, i have everything Type X LOL! this video is pretty damn old dude, Always look at the Description too, that's what people need to do, So if you would not mind, look at my Type X vids please. Thanks.

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • Wait wait wait are we talking about the same thing? I get the feeling your talking about RCA cables... I'm talking about power wire. From the battery tot he amp

  • @PJxBuchwild Yeah, I just have a 4 Gauge Wire going to the Amp.

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • My other question was when you ran your power wire to your amps did you run multiple wires, 1 per amp or I big wire?

  • @PJxBuchwild Well, now that I have a deck and this video is old, it is 1 power wire from the head unit to the amp, so separate wires from the head units running to the amps. In here, these were "Bi-wired" from my factory head unit which cause distortion.

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • @BoxerMuscleMilk actually bro my setup right now is a kenwood deck which im replacing, an alpine mrd-m1001 which is a 1000 mono amp and two 10" type r's in a sealed box. i know how good alpine's products are like amps subs and headunits but ive never heard their speakers before. The speakers im lookin at are alpine SPR-17S they look aight but idk. btw i have one more quick question for ya.

  • @PJxBuchwild Oh ok, that's sounds good man, the Type R speakers amazing but you should power them with an amplifer to take them to there full potential.

    What was the other question?

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • I've been thinking about getting a pair of type s speakers what do you think of them? And when you ran your power wire did you run 1 per amp or just one thick one?

  • @PJxBuchwild They are a great upgrade from Stock speakers, but if you want an amplifier to power them, you better get type R's, much better for just paying a few more dollars. Just one I ran.

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • your shouldnt run ur shit when its that cold u gotta let them warm up unless u already did.

  • @MrBryan386 I am not that dumb so you know, And this video is pretty old, Look at my new videos with everything Type X!

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • @BoxerMuscleMilk The mids and highs are good but only 1 12?

  • @MrBryan386 Haha, All I need brotha, Good enough for me :)

otherwise I would have to upgrade my alternator and get a new battery and another amplifer.... pointless....

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • My moms factory stuff flex the mirror harder then yours. Maybe its the song.

  • @xxjr963xx Well probably, these are just speakers and this video is pretty old now, check out my new ones with my Type X system!

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • @BoxerMuscleMilk Sorry if that sounded harsh. And I'll check out the Type X vids.

  • @xxjr963xx Oh no, all good dude.

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • is that a subwoofer beside the driver seat??

  • @thetechnogeekk Ummm, no dude, I think you are on crack or at least drunk, there are only 4 Speakers in this video, watch my new vids, everything is Typs X!

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • Hey I have a few question, should I buy tweeters or nomarl speakers for my doors?

and should I buy an 4chan amp (does it make a real difference??) THx

  • @MW2VideosCenter Well, it depends what you want, if you get component speakers you will need an amp for the crossovers.

2/3/4 channel amps make a huge difference dude LoL.

But just get Type S Component speakers because they have a built in X-over so you will not need an amp, and just get regular Coaxile speakers or 3-way 6x9 for the back.

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • get some bass in there ...

  • @ramongarcia1000 You know that this video is over a 2 years old right? I now have a whole Alpine system of type X, probably one of the best you will hear or see, check it out dude!

ask more if needed bud :P

  • my alpine 6x9s shake my mirror alot more than that just running off the deck no amp and its only a 50watt pioneer

  • yeah but it would be only 50rms with my mrp-f300.. do you think its ok?

    tks

  • dude, can I use thease speakers with an alpine mrp-f300 at 2 ohms? its weird because they are 3.6ohms and not 4.. So If i wire them in pararel it would be 1.8 ohms and I am not sure if the amp will handle this.

  • @pontes9027 Hey, just keep them at 4 ohms, they are a 4 ohm speaker, and regular speakers will always be a 4 ohm, so just do it at 4 ohms, you will not damage anything

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • Dude if you got an amp to go with those speakers your mirror should be hella shaking. I've got these speakers too and just hooked up to my headunit and they shake all my mirrors like mini subs!

  • @SayreToby Hey, It was very cold out and i just had these put in just a few days before, i no longer have these but they were a great upgrade from factory.

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • what kind of amp do you got??? how far is the gain up?? wheres your frequency at??? sry about all the questions but i bought all the same speakers. this sounds great. also i used to have the same car up i had polk in it.

  • @ckdafinest It is the MRP-F550, gain is at 6/10, and the FR is low.

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • u can get a type s 12 for your car it would sound better

  • @quakj dude, read the Description, that should be the first thing you do when you watch and video, I have Everything TYPE X!

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • @BoxerMuscleMilk it says Alpine Type S speakers Amplified so thats what im going by !

  • what amplifier is that i have the same speakers but they cut off wen i turn up the volume on my stock amp

  • Oh, The Amp is MRP-F550, pretty good amp, same as F600 from alpine but the 600 is a tad better.

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • holy shit that sounds really good for just 4 speakers damn dude really nice setup

  • thanks dude, check out my new video, you will be amazed now LoL. Type X everything!

Ask more if needed buddy :P

  • @canersikes lol how do you know how it really sounds?

the amount of sound quality lost in recording from his video camera to uploading to youtube to reproduction in your computer speakers is going to be huge.

  • @Trandana Yeah, you would actually have to be right there and inside the car to see exactly how it sounds, but this video is old.

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • sounds nice.

  • Sounds A lot better now that I have upgraded my whole system, check out my other video. alpine Type X set Up!

    Ask more if needed :P

  • alright well I got a 15 inch sub in my truck right now and the amp has a rca output on it the sub overpowers the factory speakers and I am gonna use the 22 channel amp powering the sub for the front door speakers and a new 1000 watt mono for the sub. my question is can I hook up the the 2 channel amp with the line out on the other amp and will that give it a full range input or will i need to add another speaker to rca converter. I am using the factory deck and can't replace it

  • Well, you can do that but the easiest way would be to get a Deck because it had all the outputs on the back, but if you wanna do it your way, you would line out from your Factory deck to your 2 channel amp and then connects that to sub amplifier, that's what I had in this video. And there is little Accessories to buy so it can be done, they only cost like $20 or less, and what it does, is there is out puts on it so you can connect like 3 amps if you wanted too.

Ask more if needed bud :)

  • thank you for the fast reply. I am planning on doing this in june but gotta make some cash first. I will have a video of my current set up soon. but thanks for the info

  • No problem dude, just ask if you wanna know anything more and I will try and help.

  • im rockin 2 type r "12's, two sps 600 "6 1/2, and two spr 69c. "6x9...

alpine freakin rocks hardcore and i reccomend alpine speakers to anybody who wants a strong crisp sound with plenty of bass to go around!!!!!!!

  • Yeah boy :D

Ask more if needed bud :)

  • I'm getting some alpine type r speakers this week.

  • would you recommend me getting an amp for my type r speakers, what type of amp should I get?

  • Yes, you should have an amplifier for Any Type R speaker(s), other wise they will not sound good.

MRP-F300 will be pretty good for and plus the pre-outs on your head unit if you have one. That will be 50 RMS at 4 Ohms to each speaker if you have 4 of them, or 100 RMS for 2 speakers.

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • Ok I'm new to all this stuff so what exactly is RMS and OHMS.lol

  • Also would it be necessary to get an amp for my speakers because I might get some subs and Im going to get an amp for that. do you suggest I have an amp for the speakers and the subs?

  • RMS is rated at Continuous power, so no matter what, that is what the speaker is going to play and never lose it.

Ohms is how much pressure you are putting on the amplifier, you can wire it parallel from 4 ohms to get a 2 ohms signal, thus making more power but putting more pressure on the amp. some people even do it again and get a 1 ohms signal, loads of power but not Very stable and probably get very hot.

And yes, you should get an amp for both your subs and speakers.

    Ask more if needed bud:D

  • update, went and got some speakers but didn't get type r alpines because they didn't have 6x9's but I got some infinity kappa 692.9i speakers. it has 2 ohms, 110w rms, 35hz-25hz frequency response, 96db sensitivity, 330w power handling peak...pretty good right?

  • Oh yeah dude, that is actually pretty good. was that all you got too?

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • that's it for now but I also plan on getting a alpine head unit, type r speakers in the rear. than finally I'll get the subs and the amp. one thing I've been having a problem with is the rattling when I turn my music up loud, what can be done about that?

  • there is a product called "Dynamat", and it is just a thick piece of foam and it prevents stuff from rattling.

Ask more if needed bud :)

  • where do you place this foam?

  • @smoovekid07 any where it rattles or shakes, but NOTE: it will take away a lot of rattling but not all, it is impossible to make it completely quiet. and sometime time your bumper will shake and rattle and there is nothing that you can do there.

Ask more if needed bud :D

  • whats the name of the song, and how loud were those front type s?

  • Song is T.I. whatever you like, and the speakers were loud, they can get pretty loud.

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • Ok, thanks. I have alpine CDE-102 deck and Alpine type r 6x9 in the rear (not amplified yet) but still sound good and I am thinking about getting the 6.5" type s in the front. cause i don't have the cash to get an amp yet. but later on when i have more cash i will pick up an amp and i was thinking of amping the type s and the type r with 50rms plus my deck puts out 18rms so i figure that would be pretty decent whats your thoughts on that?

  • yes, that would work pretty good, don't you wanna just get a another Type R? but every thing should work out good.

Ask more if needed bud :)

  • still want to get the type r just my audio fund is low lol maybe i will wait a few weeks then get the type r.

  • Would you reckomend puttin an amp on these because right now i have just an alpine headunit on them

  • Well, no, these speakers are just as good with or with out an amp, there will be a difference but better to go with higher end speakers for an amp.

    Ask more if needed bud.

  • Comment removed

  • Haha, Any speakers will work with any headunit, the speakers are going to be powered by your factory or after market Deck.

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • @BoxerMuscleMilk whoa thanks for the fast reply, i just sent u a message lol thanks!

  • would you recommend to buy 4 type s speakers, but all 2-way?, cause 6x9 speakers doesn't fit in my car and I don't know how much is the difference between the 2-way or the 3-way.

And is it good to combine different brands of speakers?

  • Well, they should all be the same price except the components.

Getting 6.5" components in the front and 6.5" coaxials in the rear would be a good set up.

Ask more if needed buddy :P

  • Hello mate, nice vid, great quality.

I'm looking for some coaxials for my motor. i've gone through a few JBL and Pioneer systems in the past but not into the subs too much anymore (for practicalities sake!) more after nice sound quality. What are the s types like? i don't wanna lose too much oomph from my sound system tho. you reckon if i go with the type r's id need an amp? don't wanna be underpowering it on the head unit...what u reckon?

    Cheers

  • Well if your after good sound and quality, go with the Type R's, and if Money is a problem for you, go with the Type Components for the front and probably 6x9 in the back or whatever can fit.

And yes, you would need a Amp to power those R's because they can handle more power and if you buy them and just put them in, you are not taking them to what they were made to do.

MRP-F300 will be good to power them along with your head Unit, Until then, I will hear from you...CHEERS :P

    Ask more if needed!

  • Cheers fella. So do you reckon an alpine amp is better suited to the speakers (logic is telling me yes lol).

My only problem at the moment is the mounting depth, as the type r looks like it has a bigger magnet than the type s and i really want them to be tucked behind the factory speaker grill to look as OEM as possible...hmmm decisions decisions! Thanks for your advice

  • Well, i am an Alpine Fan, I would tell any one to get alpine but I know some amps are better and what not but i just like Alpine, I have this site that tells you every vehicles speaker size and everything, from there, you can choose what speaker will fit the best, you should be able to squeeze R's in there but if not, get Type S and save lots a cash, and get a 10" sub or something :P

Ask more if needed bud D:

  • Dude, look at my other video's, I also have upgraded everything to Type X and a 7" Flip up screen, and watch your mouth, you are the first one to say anything like this, I am here to help people and you come in here and say that stuff, not cool man. but whatever, maybe you will smarten up one day.

    Ask more if needed D:

  • do you think the typeR's component speakers are much better thand the S'comp. speakers? don't know what to buy, i need two sets i think.. maybe one R and one S..do you think the F300 amp can take care of those?

    thanks from argentina.

  • @labaranda777 Alright man, Don't mix and match, get either S or R, if you get the Type S, you don't need an Amplifier, but if you do go with Type R, you should get that F300 amp, that would be awesome for them, that would be giving them 50RMS Each to all 4 and whatever Deck you have in your car.

And yes the R Components are better, Alpine grade them from lowest to greatest.. E,S,R, and X.

Ask more if needed buddy, be glad to help :)

  • Have you ever had any Sony 6.5" 3 or 4 ways like the ones that I have in my vids? If so, how are they in comparison? Does thebass sound clean from your alpines? The sony ones sound kinda plasticy to me when I turn the bass up on the speakers. When my sub is on, my sonys don't sound very realistic so. I ask because I am planning ongetting a 5 channel amp that will drive all of my speakers and my sub and I want to be able to listen to some music with the sub offand not have bad sounding bass.

  • Well, what would you rather watch TV on..? Samsung or Panasonic? it all depends on what your looking for on quality with bass, mids, and lows, I have my set up with just Bass playing from the Sub, my 4 speakers are just for mids and Highs.. and maybe a little bit of bass, the one the Sub can't hit. Not too sure about Sony, I don't hear a lot of good things from them but Alpine Type R speakers give out awesome Bass dude, go with those, they have them in your size, and they are amazing

    Ask moreBud

  • Thanks for the reply! I will probably get those type r's in the summer.

  • I'm new to car audio set ups, so The amplifier is what gives that added bass to the subs? but is it something you have to get?

  • Haha, Yes, you would most definitely need an Amplifier to power a SubWoofer, not so much of Speakers for your front and rear because your factory head unit or faceplate can take car of those, but It all depends on what speakers you get too, But for the Most part, you need an Amp to power a Sub(s).

Ask if you wanna know more bud :P

  • Thanks alot, I plan on getting the same kind of speakers you got.

  • Cool, just don't get an Amplifier if you are getting the same kind as me because they are very touchy if you do, go with Type R's if anything, and get a good sub like the Type R and you will be set :D

Ask more if needed buddy D:

  • Just got a pair of 6x9 type s speakers running of a pioneer 50x4 HeadUnit with stockies in front and a shitty xplod sub ' They Dont sound to great would it be becouse of the shitty sub screwing the sound or...?

  • Well, could be your receiver, not wired correctly, and what is powering your Shitty X-plod sub? Just so you know, it would be better to upgrade all of your speakers at once, then swap your sub with a better one. Let me know more bro and I'll try and help you :D

  • I just got a vid up of them they sound Pretty gorgous Now probs becouse they needed to be run in a bit.

whats powering my xplod its just a no branded 300 w amp lol thats probs just fu*king the sound up ' Would you recomend that i get a small amp for my speakers?

    Love yours btw

  • Sorry for the late reply dude LoL, and if you want a small amp for your speakers, you better go with Type R's or something, because when you try to amplify these Type S Speakers, they start to get very touchy on sound, they do sound better but got to watch the volume you have set on it, too much high hurts the ears and the mids start to become annoying as well, but yeah, if you want for show, you can get a little amp for them.

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • you really cant hear the bass in your vid but, how much do you get through those speakers, i am going to buy the alpine type s 4 inches and then a set of 6x9, with an amp, is the bass good or not

  • Well, it all depends on what you want, if you dont want a sub and just speakers, go with the type R's and have a good amp for them, they can handle a lot more power than the type S, MRP-F300 will be good for Type S, go with a bigger amp for the type R's or you can use that one but the amp is going to be maxed out, MRP-f600 would be amazing for the Type R's,

Ask more if needed bud :P

Also, bass is Alright, the only way to make a difference is a Sub, Even get a 10" Sub, you will be happy :D
