first film for bhanu priya and actor vasant who died recently directed by barathi vasu music ilayaraja film was good but failed at box office . 1983 year release .
Melodious song from Maestro Ilayaraja with youthful singing from Deepan Chakravarthy and Uma Ramanan. It was actress Bhanupriya's debut film (the hero is Vasanth, who was last seen in Tamil TV serials like Veettukku Veedu Lootti. Bhanupriya went on to make it big in Tamil and Telugu films, with a few Hindi films thrown in. She is a fabulous dancer with amazing technique, grace and great expressive eyes. Some of my favorite films of hers include Swarnakamalam, Anveshana (Telugu), Azhagan (Tamil)
it is not originally from navaliur.... it is from tirupalliyezhuchi by tirumaanicavaasagar from 6 or 8th ce and he himself taken aandaal's tirupaavai and tirutondaradipodu aalvaar's tirupalliyezhuchi as an inspiration.
isaignanidasan, thanks a lot for this video. I was searching for Deepan Chakaravarthy's songs. Would be really great if you could add some more of his songs.

This lyrics is from Tirupallieluchi, a Shaivaite Suprabatham to Lord Shivan written by Lord Manikavasagar.
