The "dive" on JT was absolutely horse shit. He was cross checked in the head. Twice. He plays too hard and with too much pride to dive like that. And the harmonic thing was fair- each got what they deserved.
Everybody gets pissed off when a bad call is made against them but keep their lids shut when the bad call goes the other way... like the 5 bad calls that went against Toronto that night... no one bitched then.

@NYI914021 Are you insane? Franson got a penalty for highsticking when a puck hit a guy in the face. His stick was nowhere near the guy. The officiating was bad both for BOTH teams. Take your homer glasses off.
Gotta agree with paulocaust666 on this one NYI914021. The officiating was bad on both sides throughout the game. No one was handed the game at all, both had to deal with shitty refs all game. But that was exactly my point to begin with, people tend to only see the game with a bias point of view. You (NYI914021 that is) only saw and remember the calls that went against you, but not the ones that counted for you.

Search "hamonic miscounduct." Isles get screwed all the time, that's what makes this worse. If this was an isolated incident it would be fine, but it's just not.
@vikingrich If you're implying that the refs knew Hamonic didn't highstick him and used this as an excuse to boot him, (which I'm going to assume because of your previous comment about the Toronto ref), you're insane. The Hamonic call was just bad refereeing. The Isles are a bad team, with a bad GM and a bad owner and THAT'S why they lose. I'm not being a dick here, just stating the truth, because hey, the Leafs used to be in this same situation too, but I didn't put a tinfoil hat on like you.
No, I don't believe it's a conspiracy. I do however believe we get less respect from the refs because our owner sucks and we have a crappy team. This is true.
Even when the leafs suck they still get respect from the NHL.
It's not just us. I was watching a Habs Flyers, and there was a call the Flyers didn't get that was obvious, then 20 seconds later they called a BS hooking penalty or something. The frigging ref is from Montreal. What is he doing reffing a Habs game?
@paulocaust666 ya well we dont get oppurtunities to win seatch up wrong call made sj/nyi and also this one as an example. we might have not tied up the game, but we didnt get a fair oppurtunity to because of b/s reffing
