I love turtling in this game. I build something like a hundred of each type of point defense and then sit back and watch my soldiers rake in the kills. Took down a Darkenoid, sixty gunships and ten fighter/bombers with only my AA guns and half a dozen fighters.
It's even better when you play as the UEF and get a crapload of those Experimental Unit Cannons then throw 300 of those Assault Bots into their base.
