  • Thanks for the compliments. I can't remember right now the breed of the white bird, though I'm pretty sure it was not a leg horn. I do have a piece of paper some where around with a listing of all the breeds. If-when I find that, I'll let you know. We bought the chicks at Callahan's in Austin. That is a great country store if you ever get the chance to visit. Thanks again. Happy chicken living!

  • those are awesome chickens I have my own flock as well I have an almost 6 month old New Hampsire red hen and the other four are 2 months old and there all different breeds one is a Silver laced Wyandotte, Dellawere, Red Star, and the last one is a Buff Orpington. I seen you also have a Silver laced Wyandotte. But there is wone more breed I'd like to get what breed is the pure white hen? is she a leg horn? she's beautiful! I mean all of them are :D

  • You have a nice colorful flock there. I saw about 4-5 different breeds. We have some of the same breeds as well. They are so entertaining to watch sometimes.
