@noslipgrip89 "Kak"... in this case I would say no you can't, especially if you type it and it just reads little weird: "Kak ona skazala?" - "How did she say?". But, if you put right intonations when you are saying it aloud then I guess it can be used like if you didn't catch/couldn't fully hear what was said.
@noslipgrip89 One more thing. Maybe you know it, but if not, you have typed "Shto ana skazala" the way it sounds but not the way it is spelled. "Chto ona skazala" is the correct way to spell it. Can't explain why "ch" transforms into "sh" in this case but it is one of the rare cases. "Ona" - when "O" is not under stress it is pronounced as "A" (or should say "ah"). Like "moloko" pronounced as ma-la-ko (mah-lah-ko) since only the last "O" under stress.
Hi! I'm native russian speaker. And, honestly, I like english version more.
About mother's answer "What(Что)?" insted of original "No(Нет)?". I'm sure it was done for sync lips move. Try to say word "yet" while your mouth opened like Gothel's. But in the word "ЧТО (chto)" we have letter "O" like in "NO" so lips would move the same.
which is great in the english version is that Rapunzel says "no" just after Gothel starts to sing "mother". And as the song is called "mother KNOws best", it's the same sound between "no" and "know", i find this cool :)
wait.......... the russian is not right....... she said "what" when she was suposed to say no...... i mean i like it but the words are wrong. and i dont no a lot of russian but i do know some
@necklace1027 As for Rapunzel's reply, I think, she would better say "no" ("нет" in Russian) in Russian version too. But as for Mother Gothel's answer, it is correct, because no one in Russian will wonder saying "ooh". So exclamation "what?" is quite appropriate here.
We should watch this version in my Russian class....

@noslipgrip89 yeah, "shto" is absolutely correct. Although word "ana" written wrong, we write "ona".

@necklace1027 not exactly.
English version
Mother Gothel: Don't be a dummy, come with mummy. Mother...
Rapunzel: - No!
Mother Gothel: Ooh?
Russian version if translated literally into English
Mother Gothel: Don't be stubborn, come with mother. Mother...
Rapunzel: - I'll not come!
Mother Gothel: What?

The ending part was really good but I just don't think the rest of it was on par with the english version.
