I don't blame him for spending time on the cars. I had a black, split nose, 72, with a L-88 hood, scoop, camelback heads, a (sticky) 4 barrel Holley :(, Cragers with knockoffs, an engine that I rebuilt myself........ It was so nice. It was the only car I have ever owned that people would walk up to me and offer to buy it when it was not for sale. I moved to a winter resort town in 1999 and had to trade it for a 4 wheel drive. :(
Lol, I had the 72. It will smoke the tires at any speed....because the ass end it ridiculously light. The 70s Camaro models did not do very well at the 1/4 mile due to the lightness. Sandbags had to be added to weigh it down = useless weight = bad. The 1988ish Mustangs had the same problem.
