If I would make a website, then do I need to choose to either use Javascript or PHP or can I use both at the same time?

I would recommend PHP, and while you learn PHP, there will be some MySQL in it. It will be quite much HTML and CSS just aswell in PHP. Though in MySQL, there will not be any HTML or CSS.

@AtomicTheater UDK is a game development system using it's own scripting language, so not C++. C++ is a powerful programming language, Note pad++, firefox etc. are made with it, C++ is also used for game development along with DirectxSDK

@RoyceRK Not really, you could use PHP with plain text, or even images, but it definitely does help.

There are a lot of good XHTML tutorials on this channel. But if you also need something in readable format, try googling HTML Dog. For HTML5, google Dive into HTML5. (HTML5 is available now, but you may want to learn XHTML 1.0 first.) It's not a very difficult language to learn if you learn it right =)
