MadStu, Great vid! No pretentious bulls*^t... Jus' a man using his cycle to WORK (instead of as a penis extender). =) Kudos and respects. Ride safe-- Ride FREE!
I am going to tell you exactly what you should do! I know what bike you should have! You have to get these specific tires! You are going to kill yourself! You should just kill yourself.
why not insure the car more, someone life at risk if you crash your bike?, seems to risky not to use a car, get your self a turbo mini cooper ! then some ice screws hahaha
I love watching your videos blasting through trafic... But this is crazy! Do you air down your tires?? Its a very warm winter in the US I live in Minnesota... we should have 1meter of snow and we have none... How much do you have?
Must be hard in the snow, certainly got balls! Extra motivation of getting paid of course. Will you need to invest in some tyre spikes this Jan/Feb? :)
This is where being 6'1", 185lbs (all muscle) and having a good pair of knobbies come in handy :) Man I wanna make a video of me rocking the ice and snow so bad.
@RayXRSV Well I'm a self employed blood runner, if I don't go to work then I don't get paid - I could take my car but then I wouldn't be properly insured. Plus it makes the day interesting :D Believe me, there were some days when the snow was so thick that I couldn't push the bike off the driveway, and so I had to stay at home :(
YOU FECKIN NUTTER! never doing that again mate, didnt film the only time i had to ride a big bike( MT01 ) 10 miles to get home on snow lik that ..... any other traffic scared the crap outta me coz they just sat on my tail wondering why i was going so slow.
@MADMARK00 yeah it's not for the feint hearted, I'd lowered tyre pressure which helped with the grip and I was obviously completely at one with the bike having rode it everyday. And I was the one getting held up by the cars to be honest. I wouldn't have gone out if I was nervous, it was quite exciting actually :D
@PyroSA Yeah it's understandable :) I've been getting paid to ride bikes since I was 16 though and every winter I've had to ride so I guess I'm used to it.
@YoshiTheShiba A few people have said it to me in the past, but I've looked into it and I can't be bothered with all the stuff I'd have to do, lol. I ride an average 100 miles per day now no matter what the weather. I've got the best job in the world so I've already won! ;)
Humping the bike always works ;) I decide when I work anyway, and when all my drivers work, any sign of snow for the artics and I call them in, last thing I want is them to get stuck somewhere in EU. For my recovery drivers its quite the opposite, you are ALL coming into work today!
This guys got some balls to be riding his bike daily in that weather

Thumbs up for a real motorcyclist. I don't normally go out if the temperature dips much below 40F, so needless to say I'm impressed.
