  • DUH

  • Killed Arsinoe went against Alexsandria rules

  • @GreekCleopatraVII maybe you don't know, innocent Arsinoe had caused a lot of trouble for Caesar since she made a surprise attack on him and Cleopatra in Egypt. So tit for tat and by the way, it is not confirmed that Cleopatra killed her.

  • It is not unlikely that Cleopatra and her siblings, after 3 centuries of their family tree based in Egypt, were mixed with native black Egyptians. Just because a Greek family took over that didn't mean they didn't hesitate to marry within the native nobles.

  • of course cleapatra had african ancestry as she also had greek ancestry

  • White people are so racist. Why would it be a surprise that Egyptians are black? If I am not mistaken Egypt is in Africa it's common sense!

  • @mansamusa2012 The Ptolemy family were Greek conquerors, however it makes sense that Cleo and Arsinoe's ancestors would have married the local people. Greece invaded Egypt during the period of the God Wives of Egypt who were from Kush/(Modern Day Sudan) But I notice that this program that has conceded that Cleo might have had mixed ancestry is also exmining if she had a hand in mudering her sister. Think about it.

  • @mansamusa2012 ah but for a time the Ptoleimies who were Greek and Cleopatra's family because she is a Ptolemiy ruled Egypt for a short time. So don't think because Egypt is in Africa that just Africans ruled Egypt

  • @stretch4859 Everyone knows Egypt was ruled by Persian, Greeks, Romans and Arabs. I am talking about the original people of the land we call Egypt and created the civilization were Africans.

  • @mansamusa2012 Not all blacks are African nor all Africans are black.

  • @RidiculouslyLuis If you're not black then you're not African. The non black people in Africa are not African they come from middle east and Europe. As for the blacks who you claim are not African, where the Hell did they come from then? Black people are the original people of North Africa. This is commonsense.

  • @mansamusa2012 The Berbers are not African? The Egyptians are not African? Oh lord. lol

  • @RidiculouslyLuis Like I said anybody that is not black their geneology comes from some where else. Can you read what I said before. The Egyptians of today are not the orignal people of that land plus there are black Berbers who are the orignal Berbers. If you research the culture of Ancient Egypt and the culture of Nubians, Ethiopians, Dogon ect.. you will see it's the same. Keep on beliveing the lies of white people if you want

  • @mansamusa2012 And exchange them for the lies of Afrocentrists? Oh come on man, there are many great black African civilizations like Ghana, Mali, Great Zimbawae, Songhai and even Kush. There's no need to claim that which isn't your own.

  • @RidiculouslyLuis I know about about the great civilizatons you mjust mentioned. White people told that Egypt was not in Africa. I am not wasting my time with you son. You need get mad at your own people WHO state Ancient Egypt was BLACK such as Gerald Massey, Robert Bauval his book Black Genesis, Sir Godfrey Higgins, Albert Churchwood and there is more. Like I said the culture of ANCIENT EGYPT WAS AFRICAN! The Walls don't lie people do.

  • @mansamusa2012 Alright man, if that's what you think. I don't want to argue with you man.

  • Egypt sits at a point where three continents collide: Africa, Asia and Europe. There is much archaeological and paleaontological evidence to suggest that Ancient Egypt was a cosmopolitan society, full of Africans, Middle Easteners and Southern Europeans. The Southern Europeans used to go toEegypt to study at it's universities.

Black people shouldn't claim it was totally Black, and White people shouldn't claim it was totally White. It was mostly Middle Eastern plus a significant mix of others.

  • @TraffordReds9 I think many whites don't know what black people mean when we say black ,we mean "of color " which is much different. The great thing is we may never know what she looked liked and even better her skin color

  • @TraffordReds9 Need to do more research. It became mixed as you said but it was originally black. This time we are dealing with is around the first century B.c. Egypt had already been old and was well past its glory years. The inception of Egyptian civilizations were blacks who migrated from the sahara (google Nabta playa) when it dried, and began the Egyptian civilization. Even when Herodotus visited he remarked that they were black as well as the rest of the greeks.

  • @TraffordReds9 Some anthropologists contend that the early Ancient Egyptians were dark-skinned, tropically adapted ("Black") Africans and that over the centuries foreigners from Europe and the Near East did immigrate to the country eventually overwhelming the populace during the Greco-Roman and Islamic periods of Egyptian history. I imagine that when Arsinoe and Cleopatra lived Egypt was very cosmopolitan with a mixture of people but more Black African in the New Kingdom and earlier periods.

  • wow so interestting

  • Yes there is a sharp separation between Greeks and Africans. Ancient Greeks depicted and described themselves different from Africans. And the Asia Minor Coins Lesbos clearly do not show Greeks as African types.

  • I think there was no sharp separation among the people living around the Mediterranean Sea .It came up with the presence of state run Religion.

If you look at very early Greek coins, you will always find a African portrayed on some of those coins. For instance google "Asia Minor Coins Lesbos" and then click on Lesbos Uncertain,

  • @Wabe28 It is funny, how in some ways we have regressed in terms of race relations. Intermingling and mixing was much more common in ancient civilizations. I think they knew that race was a construct.

  • @manmanykm Cleopatra and her siblinbs were not Egyptians, they were Europeans as their names very clearly show. There is no credible evidence that either Arsinoe or Cleopatra had African ancestry. We know based upon ancient accounts that Cleopatra and her siblings were born to Ptolemy XII and Cleopatra V both belonged to the Ptolemaic Greek-Macedonian bloodline. It was through the mother's line that the Ptolemies gained royal recognition, meaning she had ot be Greek-Macedonian, not black.

  • Lol,damn you white people hate black people that much, this just proves that the real egyptians were black,we got are history yours is rome and greek

  • Cleopatra's mother wasn't black. It was through the mother's line that the Ptolemies gained royal recognition, it would be highly unlikely that a child of a mother who was not of Greek-Macedonian origins would rise as heir of the Dynasty.

  • @apro282 So we should believe you instead of the scientist right?

  • @apro282 we have something better than "accounts" We know have science and that is what was utilized here. You can now trace your own heritage back 2000 years through DNA testing and I have had so many friends who were shocked at their results. There was much more intermixing in the past than we ever realized.

  • I WONDER WHAT THE EUROCENTRIC BULLSHITTERS HAVE TO SAY NOW , OR MAYBE THOSE SCIENTISTS ARE AFROCENTRIC TOO , TIME AFTER TIME THE TRUTH IS COMING TO LIGHT , THOSE EUROCENTRIC FOOLS FIRST SAID THAT EGYPTIANS WERE WHITES , THEN THEY SAID ARABS , NOW THEY SAY MIXED.......

  • cleopatra mother was black

  • @TheVoodooochile

Neither Cleopatra's mother nor Arsinoe's was black. Both Cleopatra and Arsinoe were as European as their ethinic origins and culture clearly shows them to be. They both belonged to the European Greek Ptolemiac dynasty, the Ptolemies INBRED to preserve their royal ancestry. They didn't intermix with people they viewed as inferior to themselves.

  • @apro282 , YOU ARE TOTALLY RIGHT , THOSE WHITES SCIENTISTS ARE PROBABLY AFROCENTRICS TOO , LOOL AS LONG AS YOU ARE HAPPY BELIEVING YOUR LIES ABOUT CLEOPATRA , IF IT MAKES YOU HAPPIER TO BELIEVE THAT SHE WAS WHITE ,LOOOL AT THE END OF THE DAY , THOSE SCIENTISTS HAVE SOMETHING THAT GIVE THEM 100 TIMES MORE CREDIBILITY THAN YOUR RUBBISH , SCIENTIFIC PROVE OF CLEOPATRA ORIGIN , WHERE ARE YOURS ??/

  • When people figure out we are all a connected race of people officially then some will never except it still. Race is not a factor in finding out anything about archaeological finds but region is interesting in finding out something which all can share in. We think race today is status but only money, time and place can truely show that it's not.
