I have the prevail and it's operating on 2.3, so I haven't had any issues with it force closing or me having to reboot. But the only reason I would upgrade to the ZTE is because I like that the screen is a lot bigger and that the camera has a flash. I can't stand not having a flash on the prevail.

Just for your fyi guys , if the zte warp does evrr freeze just keep the volume down key and power button at the same time n hold it for a second or so, itll do a freeze restart so you dont hsve to remove the battery

I found out at my local boost mobile store that if you keep the receipt, the box the phone came in, and all the papers inside that they will replace and/or exchange your phone for you the first 30 days. I think that is plenty fair. But that's my local store, each store may be different.

@refinnejm1 if your talking about off wifi, then it would depend on how strong your signal is. The phone supports flash if thats what your asking. I have watched a lot of streaming videos online just with 3G. I do not know of any cases or screen protectors yet because I only buy my stuff from my friend who owns a Boost Mobile store

The market place also has better free apps & ur phone does hav2 b jail broken to change ur interface. Try go launcher 4a week & tell me what u think. Its better to buy these boost mobile phones from bestbuy that way you can buy the 2 year protection plan for around $30 bucks that way you can get it replaced if anything happens. Yea boost sucks with their customer service, i was supposedly on shrinkage since January of this year but my payments never went down so i call them and apparently i wasnt on it when i clearly asked a boost rep if i was more than once and he said yes.

dear knoxville, great vids you made me get the phone much like many others. the one thing i believe you get wrong about the placement of the speaker. they cant put it where you suggest (on the bottom) because that is where the internal antenna of most mobile phones are encased.

And T-Mobile's 3G speeds can get up to 10.2 MB down. With my MyTouch 3G Slide, At my home, I was averaging 4-5 MB Down and 1-2 MB Up. My Brother, with his MyTouch 4G gets up to 12 MB Down and 2-3 Up average. Also, the MyTouch 4G is a "High End" phone. Its fully equipped. Including HD 720p video recording and Gorilla Glass. Those are just a few of the specs. The Nokia Astound I mentioned, U can buy Brand New for about $150. Its the phone I am looking at to buy to replace my Optimus V.

My brother just bought a Mytouch 4G off Craigslist in excellent (Mint) condition for $160 and then went to a T-mobile store to buy a Monthly 4G Sim card. Then paid for his first months service ($60), and poped in the Sim card and BOOM. Unlimited 4G service for $60. I am currently with Virgin Mobile but am switching to T-mobile as soon as my next month service runs out. I was with T-Mobile 6 months ago on contract, and service was very good. I was using an MyTouch 3G Slide.

yeah, have you checked out the price on an unlocked 4g phone, and i mean a new model, not some old one. you will be paying quite a lot more than 200 for it.

also the real difference is the coverage maps, not 4g vs 3g. if you always had great 3g coverage you wouldnt care about 4g. realistically speaking 3g is pretty fast when it has a solid connection.

the problem is mvno companies like boost mobile have more limites coverage so you tend to get a better signal with a major carrier...

@Fritz075, Like I said. U can buy the Samsung Exhibit 4G (New) for $200 at Walmart or $250 at T-Mobile's website. Thats a 4G phone dude. But like I said about there 3G speeds, T-mobile's 3G speeds are as fast and faster the Sprint's 4G. As Sprint's 4G (Wimax) is a joke. Not many people know about T-mobile's new Monthly 4G service right now as its still pretty new, This past year. But its the BEST deal out there for Pre-paid service right now.

Also, The best thing about T-mobile's Monthly 4G (Pre-Paid) is that u can bring ANY T-Mobile or Unlocked GSM phone and use on there pre-paid network. Which is 92% that of there post-paid network. So really no difference in coverage between contract and no contract service. T-Mobile's coverage is like 30 times more then Boost/Virgin mobile too. And T-Mobile phones have that Wifi calling, so if u are at home in your basement, and have no service. U can use Wifi for service.

Even Sprint, in fact if u Google Sprint and Data Caps, u will see what I am talking about. Sprint is the last carrier to (Currently) offer NO data caps, but that is going to change next year. They are getting rid of the "Totally" unlimited plans. The $70 monthly 4G plan gives u Unlimited Talk, Text and Data (5 Gigs then throttle down).

@Fritz075, LOL, Hogwash. Its with T-Mobile guy. They have 6 Monthly 4G plans right now and one of them is $30 a month for Unlimited Web and Text with 100 mins Talk. So if u talk very little a month, then thats the plan for u. Or u can have Unlimited Everything 4G at $60 or $70 a month. The $60 a month service allows up to 2 gigs data use before u get throttle down to 2.5G and the $70 allows up to 5 gigs a month. If u don't believe me then go to t-Mobile's website and see for yourself.

overall though my warp has been performing great without a single issue.

my only issue is i cannot find a flashlight app that actually turns on the led flash... which is not a deal breaker, but i do like having the function available.

oh i also dropped the phone from my lap to my hardwood floor when i stood up once... it scared the crap out of me, but the phone was perfectly fine. so it is more durable than it looks.

just a few comments.

function key lights - this is a non issue after you use the phone a couple days, i actually prefer the lights to stay off now.

customer service - ive had great customer service from boost personally.

hi-def video - many new high end phones do record high def, but if you are willing to pay 100+ a month for your phone, go away.

speaker - being rear mounted isnt that bad. when set on a flat surface it reflects and is quite loud, and you can do the same in your hand.
