  • So smooth!

  • This is great!

  • that was awesome... but (no offence) it kind of ruins it how u can see through his body! but it is awesomely amazingly great and cute

  • It is but a Pencil test.

It's mainly used so that the animator can work out timing and shots. Nothing too fancy yet. xD

Basically, it's a rough sketch for the actual film.

  • curious george is so cute

  • cute

  • wow

  • awesome

  • Nice piece.

  • This is BEAUTIFUL!!

I tend to stay lower than 20 frames per second when I do animation, but this looks like it must be around 30 or 40! And hand-drawn!! It's just amazing. You're wonderful at this.

  • thats amazing

  • thank you so much for uploading these Handdrawn. These are so interesting to see. im just a basic flipbook maker, and seeing your work, stripped down and as basic as can be is really inspiring. it proves that you dont need anything else except a pencil, paper, and a love and desire to make a drawing come to life. beauiful work.

  • Thats so cool! Its so sad that fine 2D animation like this is rare nowadays..:(

  • great stuff i have a friend i used to work with.. he's a story board artist workin at film roman right now i think.. i dunno but still all that stuff is great, i respect computer animation like cgi and things to that effect but theres something more honest about hand animations...

  • I love it!! I really admire your art

  • This is great! I have to show all my friends

  • Hey Matt,

Very nice work. I love 2D animation. I've done several little clips for school, but I find I better with flash.

Are you currently working on another animated film?

Once again, awesome work,I admire it alot.

    Sincerely,

    Ian Gade

  • Victor your always too kind! My major influences as far as drawing is concerned are too many too list, but here's the short-hand: Glen Keane, Milt Kahl, Walt Stanchfield, Tony Fucile. and as for animation: James Baxter, Milt, Frank. I've learned a lot from just doing it. Ya know, although i've had some good structured teaching from the likes of Frank Molieri, Tony DeRosa, Tony Bancroft and others--

    take care bud!

    Matt

  • Hi Matt !

And again. WOW Man, this is GREAT !!!! A few questions...

Who or what has the biggest influece on your work ?

    Regards

Victor (your biggest Fan ) :-)
