While fanboyism would initially make one think that G1 Megs HAS to win (since he's just the stronger character), stack the two up and the RiD Megs is logically the one who WILL walk away from the fight. G1 does have his big-ass fusion cannon, but that's about it. RiD has various lasers coming out of every pore, a rotary shield (like BW Dinobot), earthquake inducers, flame throwers, razor-sharp teeth, and I'd wager his giant fist mode could easily smash G1 right into the ground. :P

You are right.....There's no G1 Megatron here. It's obvious that alot of people really dont know transformers or started watching it in later years or never saw G1 edition from 1984 to 88. That's why sooo many of them accepeted the robots from the Transformers movie even though they look like insects.

Consider this, RID uses his shield, but is on a cliff that has lava below it, even if RID's shield can stand up against G1's cannon, the ground can't, and sure, RID can fly, but not if he keeps getting hounded, and I think he can only use his shield while in mammoth mode, which I think can't fly.

I will say this, G1 would beat RID megatron since on the shows, it was obvious, megatron was nearly indestructable in G1, on RID however, he was just lucky that he had that shield with maximus stomping on him. Plus there is the character part of it, and lets face it, gun can take out RIDs footing by blasting terrain, thus,it would be RIP instead.
