  • more like a songo.

  • Thanks Philip - very nice, I am practicing it already

  • MAMBO??????

  • random question, dude, did u go to Passion 2009? is that how u got that wristband? lol

  • @GetMeSomeDrumStix no i sure didn't....i think that wrist band was just for the place we were playing...so I could get backstage and what not.

  • I want to be able to improvise beets like this not just learn a few variations and have them memorized.

  • Your fill at the end was pretty awesome.

  • you say 3-2 clave but playing 2-3, but good vid.

p.s. there is a peep, i think a feedback of your overhead.

  • Awesome Beat! I'll try that one. But you should use ear protection!!!

  • @buzzardkill why ear protection????i never use it.....

  • i like that,

  • I'm pulling my hair out trying to play the cascara pattern with the clave and the bass,

got any tips on fusing these two together?

  • thanks allot man i had the hardest time trying to figure this one out and now I've almost got it down i appreciate it allot next time I'm in Austin I'll definitely try and make a shout out to talk about one of those kits :p

  • @thatguylikespie Keep at it, you'll get it!

  • awesome beat but it's too eachoe

so it kills good camera sound pick up

in other words play in an enclosed area where not a lot of eacho

  • @parkourer100 hey...I record when I can and where I can, sometimes it has to be in areas that are not exactly prime recording spaces.

  • good video, remember when explaining anything, you have to get your wording right. Cascara means shell in Spanish... that's why they play it on the shell of the drum.. and it's pronounced Cáscara (with accent on first A).. but rest is very well explained

  • @Charlz88 Thanks for the info. That makes sense!
