one of my favorite things to do is flyfish for the cudas... in terms of fly choice... basically when i tie up cuda flies... I tie just a basic streamer, but when i think i have 5 times too much flash in the fly... I triple it! haha cudas love anything flashy, i swear somedays you could practically use a pepsi can with a treble hook haha

i love catching tarpon but my second fish to catch is barracuda they fight awsome and the jumps are great we had 1 jump over our boat fishing at whale harbor and holiday isle bridge we was driffting for tarpon

Nothing like sight fishing. Really gets your adrenaline moving when you can see the fish explode on the bait. Used to see lots of 'cuda while reef and gas platform fishing in gulf, but couldn't get them to hit anything live, dead, plastic or metal. I bought some tube lures like the ones used in this vid and suddenly all of the 'cuda just vanished. I'm telling you, the bigger ones are psychic.

@LUCASviaKIMURA Yeah, we have Pacific Barracuda, skinner and longer than the Great Barracudas of the East coast. We get tons of them in the summer... pretty fun to catch, but a pain in the ass when you are trying to catch actual sport fish like yellowtail.

What lure is being used? Any suggestions on what lures would be best for bonefish? I'm gonna be coming to the Keys around the end of April and was gonna flat fish at Anne's beach, is it worth trying Anne's beach?

If using a spinning rod for bonefish. A little diamond jig (3/8 ounce) is what I use. And nothing beats a live shrimp.
