  • Mmmmmmm.... Subway.....

  • Hawaii 5 O has been getting worst and worst and so I stopped watching altogether. Decided to watch it today just to see if it has gotten better and it resulted in me seeing the most lamest product placement I have seen in a while. The craziest part is how long it lasted. I mean, come ON! Who in the hell talks about subway's nasty ass sandwiches for that long?

  • It's called product placement...

  • Who cares if it's advertisement or not?! It was hilarious!! I mean come on, 5 FOOTLONGS?!?! That's pretty damn funny to me. And the next scene was even funnier. But what can I say...? I love Hawaii Five-0 <3. And hey, at least they're promoting weight loss! :-)

  • Fucking ridic. This makes me want to avoid Subway.

  • I can't believe Subway would be shameless enough to promote Hawaii Five-O in their commercials.

  • You may not have noticed, but there was a TV show inside this subway advertisement.

  • what advertising?

  • subliminal = Below the threshold of conscious perception. in other words hidden from you but you still react from it.... it is clearly apparent whats going on here.... not hidden

  • @xXVVassXx

    he's being sarcastic

  • Yes... 'Secret'

  • They're trying to convince us to be investigators that have nothing better to do than ask a guy what's on his sandwich. Thanks for the upload @OnAirJeff

  • It took me a few times to catch it.

  • all the subway logo's are facing towards the camera.... HHAHAHAA

  • Everytime I see the commercial for this show pop up during football games, this is what I will think of.

  • Suddenly, i want to go to Quiznos...

  • wow thats crazy

  • PIZZA!!!

  • Mmm. Suddenly, I want a big sub from Quiznos.

  • I feel like Subway all of a sudden...I wonder why?

  • No one understands the sarcasm of the "subliminal"?

  • This is really a great scene!!

  • I think it was too subtle. What was it advertising?

  • must have subdays

  • @dontef Subliminally, I’m getting a subliminal feeling that you are subliminally upset.

  • @dontef RETARD

  • @jblaze5779 Yes, I'm a retard for knowing the meaning of subliminal. Thanks for letting me know.

I swear people are fucking morons. Nothing but morons.

  • @dontef yea but you don't know the meaning of sarcasm. Obviously the poster is being very sarcastic about the obviousness of this advertising.

  • @jblaze5779 Yeah, and obviously you're a fucktard.

  • @dontef I'm going to embed a secret subliminal message in the following text. Are you ready?

    "Dipshit."

Did you catch it? It said that you lack the cognitive competence to detect irony.

Unless you're deliberately trolling us, in which case you are due congratulations.

  • @Foggen Wow, you're clever. Or about as clever as you think you are.

  • @dontef So, fully? Thanks for the compliment!

  • @dontef

See, this is funny because your response makes you look like a moron. By the off chance that he isn't being facetious, then you might be right. However, judging by the length to which he explains how "subliminal" this is, I believe he is making a joke, and one that I think is effing hilarious and one that you obviously didn't get. That is, unless you are taking humor to a level of facetiousness that I have never seen, in which case the joke would be on me. Don't be so angry.

  • @mlovefancy I wouldn't presume to doubt the word of someone who still uses the word "effing"

  • @dontef he was being sarcastic, obviously

  • @DanKoelsch Die in a fire.

  • There are 20+ minutes of commercials already aired during an hour show. Adding another 58 second commercial inside the episode is outrageous.

  • I was craving for subway after this

  • It's not as bad as most are taking it. If I had Subway and the people I was talking to were curious of my enjoyment of what I was eating, I would tell them why, probably in the exact same manner as he did.

The real thing would be the commercial-approach to the introduction of said items, the way titles and names are bold and pointed directly at the camera, the camera angles, etc., and it's not exactly that experience-changing.

It's not the end of the world, guys.

  • I turned the TV off 30 seconds into this horribly blatant ad. I'LL NEVER BUY SUBWAY AGAIN!

  • cbs....smh

  • This isn't subliminal at all.

  • @dontef I can't tell if you're serious or not.
