I really liked a number of Springsteen's songs (with just him playing!) but I never liked his band, they're medicore at best (especially Stevey) plus Bruce's stage/arena shows were way over the top like some kind of raving, pagan fire god ceremony or something!
first off it is stevie van zandt or miami steve..or little stevie..and second this band has been with him since the start...even though there have been breaks 89-99 and 2002-2006 they are still the backing force to bruce
hell yeah bro i was in line for 12 hours to get tickets to East Rutherfords show Its a sick show, ive been up all night to get Indianapolis tix and charlottesville tix
Unbelievably awesome! I love that the Boss is still rocking the house and fearlessly standing up for what he believes in politically. How often do we get to LOVE an artist and admire that person as well? Props to Bruuuuce! Plus, how hot does he still look playing that harmonica?!
Bruce Springsteen fans are the best. We are THE BEST ! I saw him in Ottawa a few months ago and i am going back next march in Montreal. I have never found someone as TRUE as Springsteen. He's the man

Itchin' for something to start " He definitely ain't done yet, see him on the stage in 2007/8 pounding out the songs as if each concert is the last. There is a sense of urgency on this tour that wasn't there before. He knows what is at stake, survival of the country. Wake up America, you are losing the best parts of yourself. You can see it as grown men and women with children, mortgages, bills, no health care belt out the songs with tears in their eyes.

This music has sustained me through the years and many miles traveled and will continue to do so. I am sure all Bruce fans can attest to this fact.
Give credit where it's due. Dylan has penned over 400 songs and MANY of them got airplay, (not just "a few")whether performed by him or by the MANY other performers that he wrote for. Dylan has been writing songs for 45 years. He was ranked #2 in Rolling Stone magazine's list of "Greatest Artists of All Time", second only to The Beatles. Even when Bruce got his big start in the 70's, they were calling him "the new Bob Dylan". - (Obviously holding Bruce, up to the standard set by Dylan)
"Even when Bruce got his big start in the 70's, they were calling him "the new Bob Dylan". - (Obviously holding Bruce, up to the standard set by Dylan)" well, that was in 70's and if he was that good when he was that young how good is he now, still able to write great songs? (according to me much better songs than Dylan)
How good is he now? Still writing songs & currently on tour. Dylan has been nominated several times for the Nobel Prize in Literature. Last year at age 65, his album: Modern Times made #1 on US Album Charts and was named album of the year, by Rolling Stone mag. Nothing against Bruce, but he walks in Dylan's footprints. ONE man, hasn't. Others have, also.
For example, look at how many songs Bob Dylan has scribed ..and have been written for, and performed by,.. other artists.
Long before "The Boss" arrived on the scene..
