I just walked around the border of the map spamming my shotgun.. And running like a pansy when i got within 5 feet of a chimera... It took like 5 minutes but it worked perfectly!

The easiest way to completed this mission is;

1)Unlock Super Character

2)After start the mission,equip Pandora,use Gunslinger style and then just press J(PC),O(PS3) rapidly......(Sorry,i don't know in X-Box 360)

Thank you very much, nice idea with the SG, i just shot one down, killed him and moved one, then used the DT on the last wave and shot down the last one.

Didnt even use a full charged Royalguard S.

Aren't these named Blades (They appear in DMC 1 with that name) and don't they have the same critical hit? I don't have the game hehe, so I'm not sure...In case you're wondering, the critical hit is when you stinger them in front, then at their backs to knock them mouth-down and helm break their backs. That should kill them (at least in DMC 1)

It's call the disaster gauge. It's for gunslinger's pandora box.

sadly no. The skill make Dante invincible but slow and it take up guard gauge.

Dreadnought is NOT LVL4, is LVL3 Royalguard Style, you must buy all LVL to do that skill, is very useful but i think that was too dangerous use Dreadnoght, because if the RG gauge is empty and you don't kill all Chimeras, you are doomed (not to much but you must run :D ). Like they said is more easy to fill the Disaster Gauge from Pandora, kill the last Assault until the Chimeras arrive and do the Omen.

there's an easy way to this mission...

turn on gunslinger,  dont need disaster gauge. just air hike then hold special key to transform, 3 homing missles, then immedietly after landin, jump up again, transform, 3 missles, and so on.

i did my 1 at my first try,but i think u need a bit of luck for this one as u dont wanna land on their blades. good luck every1

you were right,using Pandora and shooting in the air when you killed the chimeras with the 1st move of pandora,and after that I used omen(when dante opens Pandora)I killed all of the infected demonds,thank you for tell this way :D!

ok, i tried the shotgun way which is by far the most retarded and time consuming option the way i did it was go in the room and start using pandoras box the (machine gun) to get your disaster gauge up to max, if you can kill the first wave then use the gauge with the rockets on the second wave and just finish the rest off with the shot gun

but you can't because when you've defeated the first round there comes another, and they're crazy, shooting, swinging their tentacles and sharp blades everywhere...this is a mission no one can defeat all the time because you gotta have luck !

I beat it third try. All I did the whole time was walk in a circle and spam the shotgun, if they cut me off I reversed direction. There was only one time they got too close and I had to jump away. The shotgun has knockback, so anything that gets close gets blasted back.

thats the loser way, the shotgun strategy takes quite a lot of time, plus it isnt that affective, you do get hit after while, you have to b very lucky or very efficient to be succesful, i bet you tried a lot more times than three times, i kinda did the same as this guy, just kill them as fast as you can, moving fast so no could hit me, it is still very hard, but at least 10 times faster than just shotgun

I did something else and it worked too, get a full disaster gauge. At start, kill enemies as usual, as soon as second wave come in, gunslinger and get into missile pod, and start shooting, if the gauge is emptied, just keep doing the missile pod, even if u can only fire like 2 missiles, keep doing it and eventuly they will be dead.

well wut i thought it was.. have gilgamesh equipped trickster ans shotgun... Killed those chimera first, then jump and shotgun them or hit them with rebellion then trickster and shotgun all the enemies... and remember the jump that hits enemies... but i think this is better....

you dont need any disastr guage.. in fact it wudnt workif u had any D guage! cuz the chimera dinosaur demons would just use their jump attk... u need a little luck but u should have the blue orb within 3 or 4 tries if you do it correctly...!!! i did it on my 2nd try! good luck lol

hey earlier i looked at this and thought it looked hard but it waseasy

i didnt do it like he did in the vid.. heres how i did it.

as soon as the mission kicks off run into the centre of the area.. (forget about the stingering the chimera seeds..). once your in the missle activate the gunslinger style then just keep jumping then airhiking then pressing O to activate the missile pod then press square three timesto fire three missiles before you drop back down. then do it again!

What I did was just jump, shotgun x2, jump (which is now the air hike), shotgun x2. then i just did that over and over and over until i killed everyone. it only took me like 3 or 4 tries using my method.

You made this so much easier for me. I have tried this lame strat for 2 hours and still can't do it: Start by Killing all Chimera with Stinger, then jump around and Shotty/Slash them. When done, immediately transform DT and Stinger one to death, then jump around with Trickster (I use lvl 4 but still can't do it :p) and Shotty them. I just killed all but one then once I killed one and the other was just one shot away, he thought it was funny to go flying in air while I killed his mate. Fuck him.

Very nice strategy. And for those who still can't do this mission, there is a an ULTRA CHEAP WAY TO DO THIS secret mission. Basically, go to whatever difficulty you want for this mission, select SUPER DANTE, and basically devil trigger+trickster+shotgun+stin­ger spam your way into a 30 second spree to get the nifty blue orb!!! muhahaha. Very cheap but effective if you can't do what this guy did in the video.

This is a very good strat, yet the easiest I've done to get this SM done, was to get your disaster gauge all the way up, and when the second set of Chimeras come out, air hike and use argument, use all of it, and there should only be one left. Again, excellent strat, 5 stars.

I hated this mission. I always try being careful, taking like a minute to kill one enemy. Then, all of a sudden the the damn scarecrows gang up on me and hit me. FUCK BLUE ORBS.
