  • Does anybody perhaps know how much Bandwidth it uses to rip a live stream? Let's say about 10 minutes worth?

  • I need to stream .mp3 not .acc. How?

  • @neuronu

Wat? As far as I understand it streamripper "rips" whatever format is being streamed.

What stream are you trying to record?

  • @KorrntB

i use streamripper but i use normal install (not your example in this video) becouse i am begginer (n00b) and when press start button to record, streamripper create a new folder on my desktop and there put the record files in format .aac My solution to obtain .mp3 file is to convert this whit other program (virtual dj) but virtual dj does not recognize all .aac files this is the stream 87.117.203.226:8024

  • Maybe you should have started by just right clicking on the Streamripper window. Set a valid URL of a music server in the menu that then pops up. THEN press the "Start" button on the Streamripper window. Avoids all this CLI hassle. But I only discovered by chance-a more intuitive interface would be welcome.

  • @DeadMartha

I agree, the Streamripper GUI in Winamp is a little bit 'strange'.

Personally I do prefer the CLI way because it allows me to record multiple streams at once. I just have to start a little batch file for each stream, convenient ;-).

  • wegen dir funkt das jet hatte glaub alle einstellungen falsch . . . 5 * ^^

  • What a bullshit , This can be done a lot easier

  • This video was made for a friend of mine and shows only one possibly way to achieve ripping.

    Thanks for your opinion.

  • k Sorry i didnt know that ;-)
