Your vote for Libertarian Presidential candidate Bob Barr is 'guaranteed' to improve America's future! If he gets at least 5% of the popular vote in this year's election, his party's Presidential campaign in 2012 can receive millions of dollars in voluntary taxpayer funds. It will also automatically qualify to be on state ballots, thereby avoiding long and costly signature petition drives. So do the 'most patriotic good' with your vote, help America build a 3rd major political party!!!
I like Mr. Barr because he sees what is wrong with this country and he knows what needs to be done to fix it. He said that winning this election isnt determined by who is in office at the end, it is determined by how much pressure we can put on the major parties to have them make the changes we so desperatly need. Thank you Mr.Barr!!
McCain sure missed a chance to take a leadersip role in going against the bailout. Instead he showed us he's perfectly happy with our country turning into a socialist nation.
Hopefully Barr will gain a serious political footing after this election. There may be a silver lining after 2 yrs. of dem control. The GOP is taking the spending heat right now, but the left isn't going to fix it by 2010. It will be a lot worse.
They may cause a severe backlash. That's when the libertarian party could make some serious political wind.
titlemike, I think that's really wishful thinking. What's really happening right now is, selective banks are being handed big chunks of the bailout money so they can buy out other banks. With banking being controlled by a handful of giants, and "mom and pop" banks reduced to irrelevance, the average Joe Customer can't expect much in the way of "customer service". Watch those fees for bounced checks climb, and poor interest rates on checking accts. continue!
I believe in free enterprise and a bailout for bad investments sucks but hopefully the bailout was a bluff and now the money will be used to take back control of the Federal Reserve. If the U.S. uses the money to buy holdings in banks that own the Federal Reserve then we are taking our power back.
Only time will tell if our dollar holds up to the rest of the world.
Obviously the Federal Reserves owns the Congress and Senate. Congress is supposed to audit the FR but does not. FR is more secretive than the CIA. "We the People" opposed the bailout !*250/1*! but it still whizzed through both houses because "We the People" are stupid peons unworthy of our "representatives" representation.
Welcome to plutocracy!~ Might wanna stock up on canned goods and Vaseline.
Agreed, it's a very important point. Much of the problems people complain about in regards to "runaway capitalism" occur because of an unwillingness or apparent neglect towards punishing corporate crime in the first place.
It may not happen this year, but we still have 4 years to convince people that we don't have a "two party system", we just have two parties that have held all the power for quite some time.
Keep the light shining for Bob Barr. I'm running into the same issues with people not knowing who he is... however.... there's a couple of libertarians running for state seats as well. If we can get a substantial number of vots for Barr and get some libertarians into the state and congressional seats, it'll help keep things in check for the 2012 presidential election.
Barr won't be on the ballot in five states, West Virginia, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Connecticut, and Maine. Ron Paul is on in Louisiana, so there's someone to vote for in that state.
It's odd how issues like deficit spending, "Balanced Budget Amendment" and principle payments on the national debt are NEVER mentioned by Republicans....
Nobody I know has ever heard of Bob Barr. I tell them, but all they care about is blocking McCain or blocking Obama. I'll go with Bob Barr, and that Libertarian Illinois Senator running for the senate seat named Larry Stafford.

Cute kids, but like the ad says, they'll be forced to throw away their money for real sooner or later.

You should add the fact that you are willing to prosecute the crimes that these Wall Street crocks that ruined the economy in the first place.

I'm proud to have voted for Bob Barr. It's great to not cast a ballot for the "lesser of two bad candidates"

Go4Br0ke,
same here, except I may just right in his name if it isn't there.
HoldemPro09 3 years ago
Can you do that in every state and would it count?
Go4Br0ke 3 years ago
Totally!
the only states that won't have his name on the ballot are West Virginia and either Texas or Alaska...I forget which one.
Crisco770 3 years ago
It must be Alaska, because his website said that Bob Barr is the ONLY candidate on the Texas ballot - the Dems and Republicans missed the deadline.
One of his other videos said McCain sued to get Barr off the PA ticket.
traitor125 3 years ago
I think Crisco770 was thinking Oklahoma rather than Texas.
GeorgeDance 3 years ago
That isn't true, he's on the ballot in Texas and so is everyone else, unfortunately. They bypassed the system with no regard to law. Big surprise.
