Unfortunately this doesn't come close to the "energy" of their live show. My band did a cover of this and it ALWAYS brought the house down. I met the guys after a show in Tempe one night and they were soooo cool and down to Earth... no star trips at all.
OMG. Is that guys still alive and singing? Thor is one of the reasons Heavy Metal and rock in general died in the late 80's and early 90's. Those shots from his horrendous movie, Rock 'N' Roll Nightmare (muppet demons and starfish frisbees anyone?)are hilarious. I saw the film in '87 and I'm still giggling over it. This video really takes me back!
It is reassuring to see that steroids do not affect musical ability. However, with some of their more shrink inducing side effects you would think that Thor should not be wearing spandex pants.
