This song is amazing. My brother just joined the military and left me here with a broken family. An alcohlic father who suffers with PTSD and a selfless mother who tries her best to keep herself together. It may sound selfish of me to want him back. Just to have those laughs again, to go for walks and have the rare feeling of being happy. I'm proud of him though, he's living his dream and he will make it big someday. I miss and love my brother very much. I know he will come back someday.

My Grandfather was in WWI and so was my Grandmother. My Grandfather fought and my Grandmother was a nurse that's how they met. Two of my brothers fought in the war as well. One of them in Afghanistan and my other one in Iraq. Thankfully they both made it back safe. Verterains thank you so much for everything you have done for us. My best friend who is like a sister showed me this song. when she did she was in tears. Now i can see why. I usually dont listen to country but this broke my heart and had me crying. Her brother left recently to fight and she isnt handling it well. he was always there for her. she loved him a lot. there was a bond that most brothers and sisters dont have. I wish i could bring him back to her but i know that he is fighting to protect his little sister. He'll be him soon anna babe. i promise <3

;'( This song makes me remember how I felt when my sister left for the army...though she ended up crying from like pressure of the people yelling at her so she just broke down..(lol ... no offence but she only lasted like 2 months) but still...and i'm also making a video for a guy contributed to his brother in the army

This song makes me think of my older brother, though he hasn't gone into military. I can tell every time the military comes to our school looking for any people wanting to sign up, He thinks about it... for a long time. And I say every time "Don't you wanna go into Agriculture?!" And he smiles, pats me on the head, and says "I wouldnt leave my pain in the ass sis, for anything." And I wanna cry when I hear this song when I think of that :'^(

My Grandfather was in WWI and so was my Grandmother. My Grandfather fought and my Grandmother was a nurse that's how they met. Two of my brothers fought in the war as well. One of them in Afghanistan and my other one in Iraq. Thankfully they both made it back safe. Verterains thank you so much for everything you have done for us. I know my family was one of the lucky few to have to face the heartbreak of losing a family, a brother, a friend like some of you had to. God Bless all of you!

Last year my brother told me he was going to war.. i cried for almost 2 days striaght..and my cousin is in the navy.. this song means so much to me, and to anyone who has a family member in war.

this song is exactly how i felt when my older brother enlisted in the army. I hated it more than anything and as things got worse with the war and everything, i always wrote to him and told him i'd do anything to bring him back home and i'd do anything for him to stay home. Well, he's home now and not going back (thank god) but i know exactly the kind of heartache and worry it puts on people with relatives or anyone you know in the service

I'm 16, and my brother is 4 years older...we did everything together, we rode dirtbikes and played video games played baseball everything, 6 months ago he left for iraq in the airforce...and has been there since...i dont cry often but this song can make me bawl everytime...i miss you bro..

This war might be pointless but the people who fight every day to protect us deserve the most respect out of anyone. This song makes me cry and if their is ANYBODY who doesn't support our troops well i'd like to see them protect us and fight for their own life at the same damn time. It takes guts. I'm lucky enough to have listened to enough I stop crying every time I hear it. It still brings a tear to my eye. I have a brother who is currently enlisted in the military and I am so proud of him.

my brother was in the Army and was killed Oct 3rd, 09 in Afghanistan. It's something you never think could happen to your loved one..but it does.
pray for our troops! they sacrifice so much for us!

this song means alot to me cause jsut like the little boy in the video im the youngest in my family my second oldest brother had to leave and be stationded in england.i worry about him every now and then wondering if he will get the call to go to war and i cant imagine my life without him i cry every time i hear this song and it makes me think of him PRAY FOR OUR SOLDIERS!!!!

same with me im the youngest in my family also. and my older brother is stationed in S. korea for some more training and when i heard that obama wants to send 30k troops to afghan i broke down and cried cuz i was so worried. then i got a phone call from my brother and i prayed that he didnt say he had to be deployed hopefuly ur brother and mine will never have to be deployed i will pray for ur brother.

Same with me, my brother said hes most likely gonna join the army.. And i broke down in tears. Hes 4 years older than me and my mother and my almost step dad are gonna get married (hes the son of the "almost stepdad) and hes been here for me for the past year. I told him i wanted him to stay here with me until i get out of high school (4 more years) and he said he promised he wont join till i get outta high school so he could help me with the problems i have in high school. I pray for you!
