  • how much torques does the diesel have? must be enormus..

  • 2.0 (boxer) diesel has 150HP and 350Nm torque.

  • @nejckra 350 nm.. . thats 258 ft-lbs... must be at low rev to.. know @ how much rev you got max torque?

  • snow tires?

  • @jefevonQ

    Yes, dunlop sport 3D

  • That must be kicking out some really good torque to spin it like that. When I put the Blizzak WS-50's on our Forester, it likes to go straight.

  • @jefevonQ There's possibly four reasons for that: 1) Put the tires with the least tread on the back. 2) Run two PSI less air pressure in the rear tires. 3) Most automatic Subarus don't always put as much power to the rear wheels as the manual transmissions do. 4) Technique: Roll on to the gas slowly. Don't just mash it and turn. I've had no problems with powersliding on WS-50s in an Impreza.

  • I don't get a whole lot of time to play with it considering the fact that it's really my wife's car. I'll just get yelled at.

  • Is the car stick shift or is it automatic transmission? If Subaru sold the Outback Diesel in Canada, I would buy it

  • diesel is only manual ;)

  • @worldeyeview

    manual
