I loved this back on the SNES, one of my all time favourites, however this version is FAR too fast for my liking, plus it doesnt have the music. I'm glad he did remake it though because more classics need to be remade.
I preferred the Genesis version over the SNES version. The SNES version played slowly because it ran pretty poorly on that console. This is the speed at which the game is intended to play.
Yeah, evfen though the SNES one has slowdown, I think I prefer it that way, it works better for me, but one thing I cant do without is the SNES music, did the Megadrive one have the same music?
I LOVE the epic slapfight as young Gordon Freeman crawls slowly to the levers. I also love how this feels so much like Dragon's Lair, but is completely different outside of constantly dying instantly. Thanks for the show.
Nice to see that you enjoyed it. The "epic slapfight" actually kinda strikes me as hilarious, as do the instances where I'd run into an alien, only for me to fall down and be repeatedly slapped. XD
The slaps are by far my favorite sound effect. It is hilarious. I hate to say it, but I do wish the game was longer. Then again I could never get more than a few screens in, so that's not much of a valid wish.

Yeah, the Genesis/Mega Drive version had the music, although it sounded different. It was still really good, though.

Hahahaha...you've never played the game, I presume? You should give it a shot. It's only $8.99.
