I hate to ask a simple question but I can't seem to find the answer. Did they base this game solely for pvp? I know they have PVE and RVR but I am thinking about getting this game but I don't want to only pvp.

PS does anyone have any good suggestions for gaming pcs? I get alot of answers like alienware. Is it really that good. I don't want to spend over 2k although if I dig deep I might go over alittle.

There's some PvE, but its mostly PvP focused.

Yeah it has alot of both PVE and PVP (called RVR in WHO though)

You can play for months without PVPing and be fairly content. though really the game is geared for RVR so you would be missing out.

As an aside, if you want a gaming pc buy the parts and put it together yourself. It is mindbogglingly easy to do, and you will only have to pay 1/2 or less than what you would pay a company like alienware to get an equal PC.

Yeap I agree. I have decided not to get an alienware pc. Plus I am a complete idiot when it comes to pcs. So I think I'll just go to BestBuy or something and look around today or maybe later this weekend

Trust me, it requires literally no skill what soever. all the "knack" is in buying the right parts and even that is covered by so many guides it is no effort :D.

The parts are made so that you cant put them in wrong, a drunken marmoset could build a pc :D

The only class in WAR thats like a Warlock is NONE!!!!!! and the only class like a rogue is a witch elf since they dont have guns.Also you cant compare SHAMANS in WaR to shamans in WoW or EQ since they wear stuff like robes and not leather and chain mail!

To all of you WoWheads who think that they can get away with comparing WAR classes to rogues:

WAR Classes that can and have been related to Rogues:

Witch Hunter

Witch Elf

Disciple of Khaine

Swordmaster

and Shadow Warrior.

I could go on to say that multiple WAR classes are being compared to WoW's very few classes because people are trying to relate this complex game to something as simple and basic as WoW, with it's small amt. of classes.

Actually, the Good Humans or "Empire" race only have 3 classes to choose from as well since Knight was cancelled. Also, Dwarves have just 3 classes to choose from since Hammerer was cancelled. And Last but not least, "Orc Choppas" have been cancelled. I think the Orcs got really shafted as they are the only Race that has just one class to choose from. I hope Mythic will bring those 4 classes back at some point after launch since alot of people pick classes based on their favorite races..
