Problem: in the newest version of ic2 block id 171 & 172 is already in use

Fix: change the block id's to 254 & 255

This is a great tutorial, and everything works. Except for the TF2 teleporter mod. I checked out what you said, and yes the Block ID's do conflict with one of the mods. When i changed them to what you did the game still didn't work. I turned off the TF2 Mod and the game worked fine. So i guess changing just the ID doesnt work. Does anyone have any ideas? (also my TF2.Proporties looks different than yours because it is upgraded to v1.4) The upgrade might be the problem, but i do want to use this!

omg i installed industrial craft 8.55 (not IC2) and now when i place down a redstone torch, lever, button, or pressure plate it crashes the game so i cant power my quarries grrr how do i fix it

I dont know how, but ic2 wont work with ANY mod. When I put a mod with it, like modloader, it shows a black screen then about 7 seconds later, it says minecraft is shutting down because it encountered an error. :/

It works when there are no mods added but ic2

I think that many of people were describing the same problem as i have. In log there is "java.lang.IllegalAccessError: tried to access field dq.bl from class ic2.ItemElectricToolDrill" which i think seys the problem... But idk... I'm sure(like 99,9%) a have done everything correctly... Thank you

hypnotoad i finally got it done! after days of trying i got these mods working! thanks to your tutorial which is hilarious to me because i love your accent and everything you say is funny. But one problem, i cant get the water shader or too many items to work, but i did get ic and buildcraft and recipe book working together! bwahaha

It's not working for me :( I change the TF2 teleporters for 171 and 172 and when I enter the game the go back for the other to ID's and my minecraft crashes :/

followed all the way piece by piece, minecraft forge going on last, only using the same mods you have, put forge last over everything launch minecraft and black screeen, not responding and then it closes. any ideas? :(

@hwk00to i did minecraft forge first and it didnt matter for me, install mod loder, then mod loder mp, delete meta-inf, run game once, install recipe book, industry craft, put build craft zips in .minecraft mods folder worked for me

@HypnotoadProductions What you should do is give out the mods folder and the minecraft.jar folder you cannot start up minecraft with those 2 things so it wouldnt matter if you put them up for download :D thumbs up so he sees :D
