  • what about test results?

what kind of mileage are you getting?

    MAF sensor enhancer?

  • The color is Light blue...Small purple stripe..

  • That info was on a 2003 Ford Escape 2.0 liter...

  • Hello guys I have located the signal wire for the MAF enhancer.... On the MAF plug its the second wire from the left...I installed my MAF enhancer and lean it out to aroung 16GPH..The MPG on flat road at 55 MPH held steady at around 42.5 MPG..Smiling Now :)

  • What color wire is it?

  • In responce to Lukeoid. On the escape where the spare tire is the rear....there is a rubber knockout in front of the bumber..this will allow you to route your hose..I can send yah some pics if yah need them...

  • If you look at this video at 0:17 that is your MAF...

  • I think I see where it is - I'll check it tomorrow. Did you run a line somewhere into that or near it? You can e-mail photos to info@kevlau(dot)com.

  • Hello,

How did you connect/route your tubing under the frame, in how did you mount your cell in the back. Any hints on how to do it properly?

Thanks for your vids and hard work!

  • The MAF sensor is right after the air filter box. If you have an email ill take some pics and show you exactly where I put it.

  • Hello again. I haft to post some new info...I recently placed the hho output tube into the air filter box and ran a tube close to the MAF with the scan gauge before i was using 0.26 GPH at idle...now its at 0.13 GPH with the new location... figured id pass this on. This was done on a 2003 escape.. 2.0 liter.

  • You have to give me some more info. on where this is located so I can try it. Where is the MAF???

  • I saw Roy McAlister sparkinjector, and I think that if you modify an 4 sparkplug extension, making a hole in each one and conect a cooper tube to each hole to buble, you have a direct h2 delivery to the engine cilinders, adding more negative pressure (vacum).Good videos tks!

  • Hello i will definetly try and find out where the best place to hook to the manifold. I will let yah know soon..Be safe :)

  • I have my line in same location before the butterfly. Is there anyplace else to split the line and one go to the vacum side to use at idle?

  • I don't know where else to do it but I have a buddy of mine running a series of 3 small mason jars w/S/S wire and his H2 Hummer is getting 18+ MPG...he has it hooked into 2 locations. 1 is somewhere on the manifold.

  • Also what is the name brand of the KOH and where do you get it? :)Esacpes FTW

  • Were you using a glass bubbler? If so make one from PVC Ive never had a problem from the PVC. I have blown the glass up before...LOL big boom. I also use a flashback arrestor. I ran my system from the rear and so far it works awesome only draws around 9 amps thats after running for an hour. I wish i knew where to hook up the system for idle on the intake.

  • Have you Installed a MAF sensor enhancer? If so please show which wire is the signal wire ive yet to find a diagram...I also installed the cell into the rear compartment..

  • Can you post a video of your cell location? I have the same escape and im needing some guidance... Thx

  • The silver beracket to the left in this video is where I had a cell. I have moved it to the rear of the vehicle in the truck area for now but working on another design to fit under the hood.

  • mpg before/after?

  • No change. Need to tweak the O2 Sensors.

  • also how many cells do you have in operation on your truck?

  • I have 1 plate system in the chamber. 9 plates. 1 positive and 1 negative w/7 neutrals between. I figure as the cell heats up, all the neutrals become active and after 2 days, it's holding steady at 15 amps. I will need to up the KOH solution a bit to get the amps higher. Still not putting out enough gas...No results yet on this unit. Should have so numbers in a couple days. I can't wait to get $700 together to get my dry cell plates and gaskets. That sucker is gonna rock!

  • By just hooking it into the air intake do you still get good results? about how many mpg inprovement?

  • I only got about 10%. Can't get much more w/o doing some changes to the fuel injection electronics and O2 sensors.

  • I'm not sure where the correct vaccuum line would be but once before I hooked the line into the PCV valve - T'ed it. It collasped my bubbler and sucked all the water right out of it into the engine! So I stay away from vaccuum lines...

  • Do you have anything going directly into the intake manifold and if so where? I thought it would be better to install a vacuum line directly into the intake manifold as well as into the actual air intake. Not sure if this is accurate. What do you think?

  • No. No idea where to run that. Last time I tried I collapsed my bubbler and sucked all the water out of it into the engine.
