Impeachment would require too many Congressmen and women to do what they plainly do not want to do. But the alternitive would be to put Cheney and Bush on trial for war crimes and Treason. Impeachment will not send them to jail, a trial will.

You can also click the home button on the petition site, go to the main page click impeachment and on the next page is a link to a pdf for the petition you can print out and take door to door (or however) to see if ppl that may not have internet want to sign the petition, they have to reach the office by the tenth of september so send accordingly, alternatively the petitions can be faxed. The address and fax number are on the petition pages. Printing my 20-30 pages now! 9 signatures fit a page.

Impeachment would require too many Congressmen and women to do what they plainly do not want to do. But the alternitive would be to put Cheney and Bush on trial for war crimes and Treason. War crimes because they have blatenly ignored the rules of the Geniva Convention, and Treason because they have led this country into a false war that they made up and in the process have killed thousands of our men and women and mamed thousands more. Impeachment will not send them to jail, a trial will.

IT IS WHAT IT IS: what makes the whole thing a lot trickier is that those in Congress who knew or should have known that the Admin was going forward with plans to invade on false pretenses would be accountable, too. Further, many admit that they often don't entirely read the legislation they are voting on. What if that fact comes back to bite them on their negligent butts? Their all terrified of impeachment because most of them are derelicts who will be caught up in the prosecutioner's net.
