Too hard of a touch is used. You have to be very gentle around the eye and face area and its not necessary to add too much pressure. It can cause serious migraines and lymph nodes to become inflamed, which would defeat the whole purpose of having this treatment. I do not understand why the cheek is pushed upwards like that- it would cause toxins to be spread around rather than pushing it outwards so that it can drain away. Please do not take my advice the wrong way, but you can cause damage.
