Because on n/a motors you need some back pressure whereas turbo cars work better with more flow. You can kind of play with your powerband on an n/a car by changing back pressure. More pressure = a bit more low end torque, more flow = a bit more top end hp. But both are limited. A total straight pipe on a non exotic or on a small displacement motor w/ a restrictive head doesnt do much good.
why on fucking earth would you want back pressure and reversion.

Yeah its TT piping with a Supertrapp muffler.. your right about the disks and everything..

Yeah, it sounds awesome. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you can add or remove disks to change the backpressure, right?
What brand of exhaust is it? Do you have any other mods? I'm looking into a system from techtonics, but I'm deff not set yet.
