Anyone care if Sam Hornish Jr. doesn't come back to IRL? I personally can't wait for him to leave, his personality annoys me.

i wouldn't mind if sam hornish stayed at IRL. i like him more than marco andretti or anybody like that. i don't want him coming to NASCAR. too many former open-wheel drivers already that can't do a damn thing, like Juan Pablo Montoya and AJ Allmendinger. open wheel drivers do not survive in NASCAR and i don't see why sam hornish is gonna attempt it. he is a star in IRL and i don't understand why he wants to leave

Actually, Hornish is in NASCAR (Busch Series, but will run the NEXTEL Cup event at Indianapolis), but in the IRL as well. 2 other guys that are expected to go to NASCAR after this season are Danica Patrick and Dan Wheldon.

They're under contract at AGR and Chip Ganassi respectively.
This means that the onl;y possibility for either to go to NASCRAP would be for Wheldon to switch to Ganassi's stock division. I hate NASCRAP.

i don't see why penske tried to modify the cars. he has awesome cars and drivers...in indy. in nascar...complete shit.

I agree, penkse in Nascar sucks the big one. Even with rusty wallace, penske suffered. In ALMS, Penske kicks ass.
