He's certainly the most popular character - that has surprised me, but it's perhaps because so far he has had the most lines. He'll fade into the background a little more for the new episodes so we can develop the other engines characters better.
Nope...sorry. It's Hawk the Hawksworth pannier tank from the Great Western, I'm afraid. There are going to be a few character crossovers though, keep watching out for them!
No trouble at all. There's going to be an ivatt 2-6-2T in one of the later episodes (8 I believe, but I'll have to ask simierski), and I know for definite a jubilee is gonna make an appearance.
Yes, we do have a 2-6-2T of an Ivatt nature appearing (in episode 7, and only briefly however), but, not one, but TWO jubilees will appear in episode 9.
thank you very much. Episode 3 is well on its way, editing has been taking place all day today, and sparkshot (knuckles) kindly provided us with some great sound effects too.
it's the bit with the tank engine in the next episode preview. it's not that great, but we thought we'd at least give it a go as jason asked (begged) us so nicely...
Yep! Jason's series is LMS (still being written), but actually I'm a southern man - who pulled LNER out of the hat when we picked our film projects. Hawk got GWR, Jason LMS, I got LNER and Nick got southern. We share our models around for filming, but we've only one layout, kindly lent to us (by my dad, bless him, and he is an LNER fan).
the name plate on Sir Ralph says "Sir Nigel".

Wow. This is such a really good series. It's a refreshing escape from Thomas And Friends for a while. Keep up the good work!

I noticed at 2:05 Sir Ralph's nameplates
say Sir Nigel Gresley.

I prefer Herbert as he is a knid young engine like Stephen-who is older. He doesn't take any notice of Sir Ralph and is a hard working chap

sir Ralph got what was coming to him! by the way, is the layout DCC equipped?

"The Dambusters" - a remixed version of the original theme tune, specially composed for the series.

Stephen`s mainly the Edward the blue engine of the yard.

And Herbert is the Henry of Copley Hill shed, so to speak.

Cheers :) I like them too. Writing episodes for those two is actually quite difficult in comparison to the other three.

I wonder what region were the engines talking about; is it gonna be Midland or Southern region?

Will do! And I'll keep watching out for the Midland Engines in the next series-if it's no trouble!

I watched episode 9 but couldn't see the jubilees. I'll have to have a closer look
littlegiant18794 3 years ago
Yeah, they have been cut from the final edits so many times...there will be one in a few episodes time.

Well spotted Sparkshot! That was slightly intentional (well no it wasn't actually)
simierski 4 years ago
The rain sequence is right at the end, after the "next time..." board, with Hawk looking rather annoyed at the "wet" (lol) weather
simierski 4 years ago
Did anyone notice Jason's rain effect yet, lol? We're still teasing him over it because none of us noticed.

RAIN where lol never saw a drop
