I have 30yrs in cleaning carpets I have done every type of cleaning out there every kind of dry cleaning, steam/H.W.E. with truck mount, portables, self contain units, and encapsulation, and till you have truly done it all you should not comment. I have found to be the best way to clean the carpets. so try it before you knock it.
you set up steam cleaners for failure in this video. No real steam cleaner would clean like that moron did. when you pay for a PROFESSIONAL to come to your casa and steam clean, you are getting someone who knows what the hell they are doing. not some idiot who has never touched any kind of carpet cleaning tools in his life. your a liar! what happened to all the dirt on your side anyways? on the first pad right? well there wasnt that much dirt on your side to begin with or its all STILL dirty.
all fuckin morans! its funny how if u watch this video close, u will see the guy pick up the dirty pad and put it on the side that they cleaned with hot water extraction! and a fresh new pad on the other side.
One thing I am NOT is a Method hater. They are ALL better than doing nothing. I think we can all agree on that. The fact is, we all are trying to do the same two things....Clean well ....and put food on your table. That's the name of the game. Learning how to do what you do to the best of your abilities is one key to your success. There are many more to master. I have used and taught every method there is. They ALL have pros & Cons. That's just the way it is. In the end, it's just carpet
Also....There is no such thing as "THE BEST". In order for ANYTHING to be "The Best", the whole world must agree without any opposition....And folks, that ain't happenin' in this industry. ;-)
Getting back, the same thing is said for HWE. ie, Chemicals used. Correct me if I'm wrong, but there's THOUSANDS of chemical mixers out there. Deciding which one you use will probably differ slightly from what someone else uses, hence, different end results. And let's not forget EXPERIENCE. It Matters!
What people have to realize is there are many variables and intangables to ANY method. That's why I stated that it's NOT the method, it's the man. First, for the soil transfer method (I HATE it being called Bonnet Cleaning) you have to consider the cleaning agent being used. What's the PH? Did the tech measure correctly? Is he applying it correctly. Doews it crystalize? Next...is he using a blended bonnet, or a 100% cotton pad. All this makes a HUGE difference. Hence....The End Result. Get It?
Bonnet cleaning= Surface cleans, If you vacuum frequantly especially traffic areas, Rarely have spills or spots, Want to keep up that appearance,Not great for allergens, once a year cleaning or killing germs or bacteria.
Hot water extraction= Removes all soil on carpet and in after a dry vacuum couldnt get out,if cleaning more than 6 months to a year, removes allergens, bacteria, germs and heavy spills because HWE is a rinsing out process.
Hot water extraction is best for people who vacuum rarely and have lots of spots and stains, because a good carpet cleaner should dry vacuum first to remove dry soil in carpet if they dont dry vacuum and go straight to preyspray theyre gonna make mud on your carpet and mud weighs more than dry dirt. mud can weigh down to the bottom of carpet and a few strokes of cleaning make the top look clean but not on the bottom, to the tech and when that mud dries to dirt it weighs less and rises again.
Bonnet cleaning is B.S for cleaning carpet, if You have it clean once a year.Bonnet is great for keeping up the appearance of carpet not for deep cleaning. If you buy a brand new carpet and vacuum everyday on traffic areas and under furniture every 3 weeks to keep soil from working down the carpet thats great and bonnet it every 4 to 6 months to keep the appearance up but there is rearly people that vacuum everyday. Thats my opinion...
Now....For you justinca.....I responded on your other video response. And I will state again, you are 100% WRONG!.... It is indeed The Man, NOT the method. Granted, some methods are better than other sin certain situations. Everyone knows that. But put your method of rotary dry foam in the hands of a novice (I know how hard it is to teach proper use of a rotary. Iown 3 of them) and me with a spray bottle and towels and I guarantee I'LL WIN! So shove that B.S. up yer ass.
Actually, not sickening at all. If you've been around as long as I, you'll remember an old Stanley Steemer ad that proclaimed their "White Towel Test". They would run a white towel over the just steam cleaned carpet in front of their customer and if it came up dirty, they would re-clean the carpet. Needless to say, they dumped that ad PDQ because the towels always came up dirty. Don't believe me, try it for yourself. you'll see. Hard to argue with yourself when you prove it to yourself.
This is bullsh*t. The guy at the end grabs the dirty one that was lying on the ground and uses it on the left side implying that the HWE method left the carpet dirty. They're only 2 bonnets one clean and one dirty. He brings in a clean one and uses it on the right & picks up the dirty one and uses it on the left. It's so obvious that it's sickening.
What a bunch of B.S. coming from all you truck mounted splash and dash guys. First, to be fair, I always say..."It's Not The Method, It's The Man". But with that said, I can tell you with 100% certainty that there is absolutely NO WAY anyone is "Grinding" the dirt into the carpet with bonnet cleaning. NOT Happening! I have been bonnet cleaning my carpets for years & they still look brand new. If it did the damage you say it does, I would have been out of business 30 years ago, but I'm Not.
I own a Prochem Peak. I set the heat to 230. I will go up against any errr Bonnett claening!!! I use bonnett and shampoo but hot water extraction is the most effective
this is a great way to maintain commericial carpet, encapsulation
but it is just a interm cleaning .not a carpet cleaning if you want to clean carpet you need a truck mount or high quality prtable
by the way there was no steam comming from that wand at all which make me think that was that connected to a truck mount or portable or just a want with hose only
Steam cleaning is bad yes it does a fast job and cleans underneath the patting
But most people dont get that Most carpet pads have odor eater formula on padding and teflon stain resistance formula on carpet!!! The steam evaporates the formula in the padding and carpet!
Thus reducing the Life of the carpet!
Best way is bonnet the carpet like they did in this video then vacuum the rest whith a extractor or one of those upright wana be steam cleaners they sell at sears and walmart exetera
Sorry we pose such a threat to you! Change is a scary thing but dont worry it will be quick. Have a great day. We have systems available for those who want to get with the future!
did not see an ounce of steam from the wand, you can't clean with cold water bullshitters. let me get in there with my 270 degrees, 850 cfm deep cleaner.

Its Amazing how clean the carpet is when you GRIND the dirt into the Carpet! No Hot water and No Suction = Not Truly Clean Carpets.

Here are a few of the questions that I would have to have answered before I would believe this video was legit:
- The equipment and pre-spray used on the HWE side should be listed.
- The bonnets on the final pass should have been shown on BOTH sides, to show that a dirty bonnet is not being used to skew the results.
- Was the carpet vacuumed beforehand?
- Were the bonnets wet or dry on the cleaning and final passes?
There are just too many inconsistencies for me to believe the video is legit.
