  • Sweet Rig man, I'm thinking about getting the same case, and your components are what I had in mind too, an Asus P8P67 Deluxe and 16Gb Corsair Vengeance :)...Question, Did you had to buy extension cables for cable management, and for what cables exactly?

  • @JaczMusicProduction I did buy the extensions because it would have been a little tight. I wanted room to adjust things if needed. I used extension cables for the case wiring, front panel.

  • Great Case! Temperatures have changed a lot after putting the H70 in front?

  • @DEMONMustanggt2006 I really dont know. I never ran it in the back but I would think they would be the same. I only moved it to the front so I did not have to move the case or reach to the back to clean the fan dust filter.

  • Awsome build man. Where did you get the lights for behind the monitor?

  • @GreeneAppleGeek thx! I got them here barlighting . com. really good lights and low cost, very bright. can change into any color, can flash in patterns and color changes if needs as well as go to music with an add on. comes with remote control. really makes looking at a bright LCD monitor easy on the eyes and able to switch to gaming mode lighting on the fly. hope this helped!

  • The computer cost you? I could make an equal?

  • @KNUBB0 you can make this very easy. I don't remember the complete cost but it was under $2000 (US), biggest $ item was the video card. Building a computer has to be one of the easiest things I have ever done and I am sure you can do it without any problems. there are many guides online to help you.

  • song name plzzz

  • @shescreammyname Clubbed to Death by Rob D (from the Matrix movie)

  • Do you mind doing a Windows Experience Rating? We have a similar build, but there are few things different. I just want to see what the computer rates on your cpu and rams. I have seen another video that their cpu and rams were rated at 7.8 and mine are currently at 7.6. I'm confused on that part.

  • @nguyen8630 Windows Experience Index final score is that of the lowest component. 7.9 is the highest. My scores are: Processor = 7.8, Memory = 7.8, Graphics = 7.9, Gaming Graphics = 7.9 BUT my Primary hard disk (the transfer rate) = 7.5, so my final score is 7.5.

I have a SSD drive and it just keeps getting slower. When I first built the computer it would give 7.8 the as time goes on the score gets less but I will say I don't notice the speed drop at all.

  • Do you mind making a video of the table you built? I want to see what you had done to the shelves visually. I like your style and I went and looked at some shelves and looking into getting it builds to look similar to yours, not an exact copy. Thanks a lot if you have time to make a video.

  • @nguyen8630 I will try to make one later today for you with better details.

  • @nguyen8630 ok, video done. look for it on my channel. any questions just message me.

  • @dgiuntaXXX Thanks a lot. Now I have an idea what you meant about getting the shelves and buying particle woods. I see what you did to your setup, that is awesome and you saved a lot of money from purchasing an expensive computer desk. I have decided to keep my desk and just bought a particle board, which was already coated with black paint because the psu sucks air from the bottom of the case. My room floor is apparently carpet, so yeah.

  • What kind of table is that? I like to make something like that!! Please help explain the modifications you had done to it. Thanks!

  • @nguyen8630 it really is just a shelf ( black wire shelf ) 36" long x 18" deep. you can get them at different heights. all I did was set the one holding the keyboard at desk height. Then I used coated particleboard, but any board can be used, for the desktop and the back. the particleboard was 36" x 24". any questions just message me I will be happy to help.

  • can someone tell me where you get that temp sensor display that he has in his case thanks

  • @TheMeaty234 I sent you the links in a message. youtube does not let me post links in comments. :)

  • Max respect on that mod man.....nice

  • @xXhypeboyXx Thank bro

  • where do you get that temp display?

  • @TheMeaty234 message sent!

  • Gimme Gimme Gimme Gimme Gimme Gimme Gimme I WANT THAT PC! AND THE TABLE AND THE SPEAKERS EVEN YOUR BLUE LIGHTS AND THE WHITE WALL!!!!!

  • @DJBenzzDk lmao

  • A true gamer with the expertise in modding his own computer. I like it......very nice for what you have done to it. I'm also building one too. Following the great ones ^_^......

  • @suilkoden Thank you! I will be looking for your build post.

  • really great job! More words dont need it!!!

  • @drecksackSGE Thank you!

  • Wow great job! I really like what you did with the H70.

  • @AdrenalZebra thank you!

  • Very nice work, but what is the device used to have sata3 > front USB 3, it's very interesting and I don't find it.

(sorry if my english is bad, I'm french lol)

  • @angeldust76 I believe you are asking about the USB 3.0 break out box that I attached inside the case? In that case it came with the motherboard (Asus P8P67 Deluxe). It only has USB 3.0 no SATA (just looks that way by the markings on the motherboard where the plug goes in)

  • @dgiuntaXXX OH SHIT, sorry, it's because the connector for front panel box is near sata 3 and the picture disapears quick.

So, this box is only with MB with 1155 socket no with MB with 1366 socket, isn't it ?

I hope asus will make it with more MB, not only sandy bridge. Thank you.

  • @angeldust76 I dont know but I think they are now starting to incorporate USB 3.0 into the motherboards so you wont need a breakout box.

  • @dgiuntaXXX Last question, where did you find the "thing" to place fans in fornt of your case ? did make it yourself ? (sorry if my english is bad lol)

  • @angeldust76 the fan mount that you can see on the outside of the case is an antec 1200 drive cage that I cut down to 105mm so it would fit with the fan mounted on the inside, on the h70. the h70 and its fans are mounted in the front using a mountain mod triple bay cover to mount a 120mm fan.

  • Wow man, I should really give you my comp for like a week for you to pimp it out :D

  • @TheAnonymousGreek lol, I am 100% sure you can do this. I have no special skill. Any info or help just message me I would be glad to help.

  • this is the king of customisation

  • @MrForestpotato much thanks Mr. Forest Potato. I really wish I could say it was but check this guys build out... google "murderbox gallery" <- that is some really amazing stuff!

  • This is the Best Haf X on the planet!

  • @MrFriggoff wow, the planet! Thank you Mr.Friggoff

  • that mesh on the side, while it looks brilliant,it is also gonna allow tons of dust inside your case.

  • @tupacole lol, it sure would tupacole but I put the mesh behind the window, did not replace it. the motivation was not purely looks. wanted to reduce any EMR (and I have no proof that this does, but it could not hurt to try) because the case was going to be on my desk close to my head. lol

  • Fantastic work! That is passion. It's one thing to just throw a computer together but this is a work of art. Thank you for sharing!

  • @GuMpAkC Thank you GuMpAkC!

  • Where can I get those blue thumbscrews, but red, to put on the rear expansion slots of my HAF X. Do you think these would fit in nicely: Lian Li Anodized Thumbscrews M3 Size.

Also, would you be able to tell me if these case feet would screw on the HAF X, without modding the case: Silverstone TJ09 Replacement Case Feet. Magnificent little things I gotta say.

    Thanks and take care.

  • @TheTemplai frozencpu has some nice red ones. the only thing is I do not think they are M3, but I dont think the HAF-X is either. couldnt find out the size but on most of the thumb screws, including the ones I ordered that worked with the HAF-X stated this in the description : This thumb screw does not fit the Lian Li Cases. as for the case feet you looking, by the picture it looks to have a center hole which most likely means it will not mount on the HAFX without drilling a center hole. :)

  • @TheTemplai the thumb screws for the HAF-X I believe to be 6-32, not M3.

  • @dgiuntaXXX Dammit, I really wanted that that case feet! What do you think of the Nexus Black Rubber Case Feet? Is it worth it? Or should I go with the Premium Rubber Feet for PC Cases, the cheaper option? They are all universal case feet (self-adhesive). So fitting them onto the HAF would be easy as pie and mod free, not sure though if the Nexus' case feet are indeed self-adhesive, but they don't need any screws, so..

About the TS, you're saying then that the HAF X uses 6-32 thumbscrews?!

  • @TheTemplai those case feet (the Nexus) look cool as hell and you are right they would not seem to need and modification. I needed to add the case feet because the casters that came with the case sucked (wheels would fall off) and I needed the clearance for the psu to breath correctly. as for the thumbscrews I just double checked the blue ones I am using in the HAF-X and they are all 6-32 threaded.

  • Looks erotic.

  • @Uniflux thank you Uniflux.

  • What a f**king build! Love your work mate!

  • @abshassan thx abshassan!

  • Nice video

What is the sound monitor you are using on the front and where can you get one?

  • @Rybo1414 It is a Silverstone MFP51 display. monitoring media player and discs are just a few of the things it does. That display is the one I use on my HTPC, I just put it on this one while I waited for my nmediapc display. oh you can also control the MFP51 and the computer with the included remote which is great for HTPC.

  • @dgiuntaXXX

Thanks also what is the LCD temperature thermometer you have mounted on the drive bays it looks awesome!

    Great job beautiful mod.

  • @dgiuntaXXX Thanks also what is the lcd Temperature thermometer you are using mounted on the drive bays. Looks sweet.

    Great mod. Very fine work.

  • @Rybo1414 thx. The temperature display is a Lian Li 5.25" Dual Bezel Guage Mount cut in half with a Thermal-Star Illuminated Thermometer - Blue Light. Got them from frozencpu

  • @Therollofthedice thank you. made a few changes new video posting soon.

  • AWESOME build! Some most excellent mods there! Would like to see more build details on the H70 "wind tunnel".

  • @Dechomai I used 2 - 5.25 120mm mounts from mountain mods. Had to cut them to fit the HAFX (in the video) after you have them mounted front and back you just mount the H70 (or 50 or 60, lol) you can adjust the rear mount so the water lines from the radiator clear what they have to, then drill, paint (or alum black) and mount. the duct was a THERMALRIGHT DUCT-120-B 120MM. I used this because all the other "120mm" ducts were actually 110mm or less. now the h70 gets fresh filtered air!

  • @dgiuntaXXX Excellent...and very innovative.....thanks!

  • WOW, your video really got my attention, awesome f. build! My mom even asked me.. "why are staring at your screen like that?! You look weird!" LOL

  • @TheTemplai lol, thx! sub n friend done.

  • Great build! Thank you for mentioning Mnpctech's products, next time, PM me before you order from Mnpctech, I'll toss in a free Gift :)

  • @MonsterMawd Thank you! I sure will. I would of had MUCH more Mnpctech products in my build but they were out of stock. will be adding them later. Mnpctech has great mod items.

  • Great build man, best video I've seen in ages :) Got a HafX too, they're prob one of the best cases out there atm !

  • @Elrynill thank you and I 100% agree. HAF-X is one of the best cases. The pictures just do not do it justice.

  • FUCKIN EPIC I LOVE IT I LOVE IT man this thing is beast, those blue things you put in were SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    p.s. your awesome

  • @JJROADSTA thx JJROADSTA, the blue things are LED lite radiator shrouds by the Feser Company

  • @dgiuntaXXX The best build of 2011 so far :D thanks for the reply i'll sub if you sub?
