  • I don't think that Matt quit, I think he was caught cheating. At one point - whilst on the balcony - you hear Matt's friend whisper "ten grand", which means that Matt had broken the rules. I also think thats why Marc was particularly harsh on him.

  • @masonbain you're absolutely right, I watched the previous video (part 2) and at the 3 minute 46 mark on the balcony you can clearly hear the friend whisper "10 grand." Matt even looks momentarily uncomfortable as he obviously hadn't expected the friend to blurt it out even in a whisper knowing that there were cameras and microphones everywhere. So the guy was an idiot getting caught cheating like that. Why take part in a prog like that if you can't even hack it for 48 hours?!

  • Dude you broke into a car and wore a dress. Cannibalism is what did it? What an idiot.

  • Matt was by far the nicest contestant so far in the series. I have a lot of respect for him- it would have been easy to keep it up and take the money but obviously he respected his family more than 10k was worth. Good on him.

I like the fact that they didn't show his dinner ordeal as a 'reward' for doing the ethical thing.

    What a genius program.

  • i think its probably the funniest thing i've ever seen on tv

  • Screaming laughter!! this is AMAZING stuff. How am i just hearing about this show now?! Wootton is pure gold.

  • i said, a when they were, they were ,<---LMAO!!!

  • LOL! What a cock! He was so close! Jesus, if you're gonna sign up for sommat like this then u need to be able to think about the money all the time as the target. what a knob! Glad he never won it!

  • after going through all that and pissing all his pals off, the only way to redeem himself would be to throw 10k in their faces and say ' see, was all for this, lets get pissed!' but no.....he jacked it at the VERY end and lost it all....oh how foolish

  • i like the use ov Cypress Hill-hand on tyhe pump, the fact that he jus smashed a car window and is now a criminal. lol brilliant

  • Shame for the lad, he clearly didn't want to put his mother through the ordeal of thinking that her son was going woman eating. Slightly unfair.

  • LMAO.

  • this man is a comedy genius

  • "If I get it right this time can we stop?"...hahaha...lmao!

  • He is such a nice person aswell, this was some of the best tv ive ever seen

  • An hour!!! Matt's integrity shines through. Love Wootens performance though.

  • "Mum's bloody seen us do it"

    Sasha was pure class.

  • And good for MAtt. Proud of him...he wasn't prepared to prostitute himself a second longer, even for £10k

  • Ah this poor guy. He's the sweetest of everyone who takes part.

  • how can anyone say matt is nice the guys a little pug faced thug, and thats why marc wootton went as far as he did.

  • The biggest irony of this episode is that after watching them all so far, Matt is the only person who is likeable. The others have been idiots. I wanted him to win the money.

  • I've always wondered if there were ones they didn't show because the person gave up too quickly. I don't think I would have lasted 5 minutes with Sasha.

  • marc wootton is hilarious! he was so funny in shirley ghostman and marc wootton exposed!

  • was he the only person not to win?

  • Yeah he was the only one.

  • I think Wootton is trying not to laugh at times during the Duke scene. Brilliant acting.

  • marc wootons quite nifty at nlp i see

  • The duke of york scene has great subliminal meaning encompassing not only the effect of the 1929 american stock market crash on the price of lard in albania, but also the devastating effect on soviet forces in west germany in 1949 after the collapse of red shoe polish production due to a massive fire in the only factory that produced it in that country. This is a profound production, surpassed by no man since henry toffler miles production of 'rotund bricks - a study in post romantic mannerisms'

  • I also noticed the subliminal meaning in this scene, it was made ever more poignant by the understanding and emotion Wooton poured into his acting. A startling performance, and one worthy of the great Humphrey Bogart himself. No matter how many times I watch, it still brings a tear to the eye

  • duke of york bit is one of the funniest things i've ever seen on tv. pure comedy gold.

  • This is the only guy who didnt win the money in this series and that remark that sealed it would surely k.o. any of us if we were with our folks. It's one of my favourite lines off a comedy show in the past few years. Watch The Pilot Show where he tells the cabbie he is going to go to the moon with Paul Ince and Stelios from Easyjet and the one where he tells your man that he can have a new identity and loads of women and money if he dumps his wife and kids forever.
