i might be being cynical here but doesn't it seem extremely concieted that a girl who has been steadily losing popularity (and rightly so), who is all about this skater boy gimmick and so doesn't have any longevity, is so desperate that her and her management have stooped to covering a classic meaningful song in a desperate attempt to cling to her fame. I mean whats the point in covering this? Its not like she can do a better version or make the tune her own is it.
