  • nice

  • how much does an mpc go for

  • Depends where you buy it and which one you are going for. There are a few models out now. They are unfortunately generally expensive pieces of hardware. This one is probably around $1600 new with no upgrades. But you could probably get it cheaper if you look around and on places like ebay.

  • you never answered to me about my beatbox response

    big up

    peace

  • used from $500 - $900 is the regular from what ive seen.

  • the older ones are cheaper, like the mpc 60 and 1000 you can find them used from like 450-600

  • @MarcusTheReverent lol, after watching this vid,,,i also had thought of buying onr lol

  • The explanation at the end took this video from very good to great.

    Nice one.

    bravo!!!!

  • ill

  • Wow ur the best live drummer I have ever seen.

  • Great! Fabulastic!

You're the best I have ever seen. Your hands are independent, cool! Just make sure to practice with a metronome, tho ;)

  • Err...dude...his tempo's pretty damn tight already. Unless you're talking about the change of tempo in different sections...I believe he did that on purpose, alright?

  • ohh my god thats the funky shit!

  • Sick shit dude!!! Keep it up.

  • werd. nice.

  • incredible drum tapping! BIG UP UP!!!

    HATS OFF TO YOU....WHOA!!!!

  • Did you learn drums or piano? I say that because your hand make two different things... Big up!

  • you're the best!!

  • öyle eckö sweet giymeyle olmuyo yeenim bu işler. geliştir biraz kendini geliştir, batılılaş.

  • That was some hot shit bro. I was thinking about getting an MPC. is it fairly easy to place the sounds on the individual pads, is complicated or fairly user friendly. someone let me know.

  • Its really easy. Very user friendly screen to assign samples to the pads. Can assign 4 samples to each pad on this MPC. Peace

  • thanks bro. sorry to bother you again, but what MPC is this a Akai 2500?

  • Yeah, its a MPC 2500.

  • cool cool. thanks for all the help, keep jammin out bro.

  • nicee

  • yea!

  • wicked son keep em comin

  • Anybody who says these guys aren't real mugicians are full of shit.

  • no its just that people base their information of the wrong stuff. but who gives a shit you can still buy the machine so its all good, when people here a sound that they realy like thats all that matters. they wont give a dam where it came from. especialy if thier saying this is stely music or some crap! thats al that about.

  • awesome!!!

  • this dude got madd skillz...be pulling rabbits out da hat with this shit

  • @ seanross25

dude is just having fun on his mpc man its not a finished beat our a song you dick !

(good job man i realy like what you play right there) !

  • wow i jus learnd how to drum on my midi controler now..thanks for the inspiration

  • mad skill

  • that's ridiculous.

  • check out these hot tracks at myspace(dot)com/elsewherebeats

  • Sick man!! :O Lovin' it!! xD

  • man dudes like seanross25 can say what they want but the truth is this guy has talent and he's trying to make the best of it and that's what counts...words ain't worth shit--it's what you do that gets you the cake

  • you ARE NOT A BRAZILIAN BUT...

    CONGRATULATIONS

  • you're talented, but the final product would be below average, because no one's gonna care how fast you can move your fingers on a mpc when they hear the song on their stereo, you definitely need to learn how to make full songs not just mesmerize people with your finger show, lol... constructive criticism

  • Who said he cant do final tracks, he is just showing a life Set, thats much better to just push the button, and play. He is playing it like a Intrument, and thats cool, he can decide how he wants to play Life, like a freestyle set. Idiot !

  • this was the final project geek

  • Unreal!!!!

  • how much is that gear?

  • You can die.

  • I wanna be like you dude...man...dude.

  • much props

  • I love this video, you've got some serious talent

  • yeah, he has great finger coordination (no homo)

  • nice beat and melody bro

  • on some neptunes shit.. good work bro!

  • MPC actually means Midi production center..

  • akai switched up, it's music production center now.

  • from 1:30 is starting to get sick...lot of skillz man...

    d o a p

  • Doap

  • Your a real inspiration to me thanks so much, can you tell me what MPC stands for? I'm going to look into getting one thanks

  • word... I'm glad to see someone else doing this shit. I 'm gonna post up that pad assign video and a new joint soon. I saw your vid on the 16pads site before you got at me, dope dope dope...

    peace

    aswell

  • nuts.

  • Wow! Definately going to have to get the triggers sorted on my 3k - practice practice practice! Cheers, that was inspirational!

  • sickness

  • Damn Lak' you freaked the hell outta those pads bro. I'm really diggin' how you could keep the momentum of the track even while switching pad banks. Nice! How long did it take you to be able to work the pads like that in real time?

  • Yo Gem. Not really something I actively practiced before. I just used to do this for fun by myself. I'm actually a drummer and a turntablist. Got an MPC a couple of months ago and just started jammin the pads to try and emulate some drum grooves I play. Then I posted a vid and realised that there is this 16pad button pushing community out there. Took a few hours to put this routine together tho' cos people gave a good response to MPC Jam 1. I fidget alot with my fingers tho:)

  • No doubt man the timbo joint at the end was fresh!!( ok i justed gave away my age with the "fresh" slang. LOLLOL)

But yell man it was hot.

  • very impressive and inspiring

hope to see more quality jams from you

  • U can assign up to four sounds to each pad on this MPC. Not sure how it is on the other models.

  • did you layer sounds in a program? or is there a way to assign two sounds to a pad?

  • p.s. at first i thought you actually recorded the bass line live. interesting technique, putting the bassline over the drums.

  • Thanx man. The groove at the end was a tricky one to put together. Had to figure out on what drumsounds the bassline notes would fall and then assign another pad with the same sound and the bass note that fell on that sound. Then pick out the bass line with those pads while keeping groove going. Bit of a mind-bender.

  • good shit. love the tripples. thats complicated stuff your doing but i understand now how you have the same sound on two pads and that allows you to double up your hats and synth sound. i'll have to try that. my skills are primitive =-(

  • shit dude!! thats mad!!
