  • I own this phone and have put out alot of video tutorials and hands on reviews. Go check them out if you are interested in this phone!

  • i can't decide which should i buy between this one and the samsung jet.. i am not very comfortable with touchscreens but i am amazed by the functions and the 5mpx camera on the samsung jet. yet, i do think that blackberry is easier and handy to use..please help!

  • @JulieRaawr which have u bought?? i m between jet and bb8900!now!

  • I want this phone sooo bad!

  • wow this phone good i think im going to get it

  • free

  • question: on my memory card, when i put it in the computer, it opens and shows the cards info. Some are pics, vids, and music to be put on my cell phone. Another one is "MEDIA"......WHAT CAN I PUT IN THIS FOLDER TO BE PUT ON MY PHONE?

    like is it games? idk

  • its 1 cent 0N AMAZON.. But u have 2 agree to a 2yr service plan

  • no i dont think its free but i do beilieve it is like 100 dollars cheaper.

  • if i have a 2 year upgrade, can i get this phone for free?

    please answer!

  • heck no u cant get a phone this god for free reguardless if your due for an update.

but it will ve hell of alot cheaper

  • Wow, what camera do you use?!

  • iphone's camera

  • bold is better

  • i dropped my 8900 at the mall and it bounced twice and didnt even have a scratch as far as i can see

  • can you change that plastic cover for a black one?!?!

do they or are they going to get a different color? because i like the phone but i don't like the silver thing...:(

  • if you order the black battery door on ebay, it's easily replaceable. rogers in canada offers the black, but t-mobile in the u.s. offers silver for some reason. black looks better!

  • What is the best blackberry to buy?

    -as to latest features/tech

    -best design/looks

  • Would be this one, or the Bold for most people. I like the Storm, personally, but I know many people who do not.

  • if you're on Verizon wait till may for the Blackberry 9630! google it

  • I have the curve by t-mobile it's a little slow....How is the speed of the internet and the gps feature?

  • To be honest, I have no been impressed with the web speed - even on WiFi. It just seems that RIM's proxy servers are taking way too long to connect. Maybe a temp problem, but annoying none the less since i know how fast a WiFi smartphone can be.

  • man why is there no 3g

  • it has the same model type as the storm. but this phone looks cool

  • can you see youtube videos/

  • Dang, that's ALMOST like my 8330 BB Curve from Sprint.

Waste of money on the 9000.

  • Uhhh....are you aware of what you just said? LOL

Not only does the Sprint's 8330 look completely different from the 8900, but the 8330 is CDMA and this is GSM which already tells you the difference.

  • Looks like a Black Berry Bold 9000 How much is this phone I think I will buy one this February??

  • $200 with 2 year contract

  • i want this WAY more than my '08.. man i regret getting the 08=(

  • yeahh im sick of my sidekick now.

    lmao.. i want this phone

  • Is it any better than the Nokia E71?

  • It's very different. If you prefer the BlackBerry way of doing email and apps, then it's great. If you prefer Symbian and S60, the E71 is equally great.

  • mobileburn - So basically it's subjective?

  • It depends on what you want, and what you like. I like both devices very much, but would probably personally lean more towards the Curve 8900 because it suits my personal needs a bit better.

  • mobileburn - I see. I think there's a question anyone can agree on.

    Whats easier to use?

  • Hmmm, I don't find S60 to be all that intuitive, so I'd probably say the BlackBerry is a bit easier to use.

  • mobileburn - I know what you mean. I just got a phone with S40 and they cut and shut some S60 in there just to be annoying.

It's kind've like adding Ford galaxy parts to your new Harley.

  • Is it worth upgrading from the previous curve ?

  • There's not all that much in new functionality, but the new display, AF camera, and thinner design are worth having.

  • Nice video

  • nice phone...

  • hmmm, i see. and about the screen, i understand it has a higher res count than the bold but is the difference noticeable?

  • Higher res by a little bit, yeah, but it's smaller. You wouldn't really notice the change in res as much as the size.

  • what would you prefer, bold or javelin?

  • 3G would be nice, but I prefer the size, keyboard, and UMA support on the 8900.

  • Not *very* different, no. But the 8900 is quite a bit smaller than the Bold and lacks the Bold's 3G support. Otherwise the functionality is quite similar, I suppose.

  • Interesting phone. It seems to me that this is TMobile's 'version' of the bold. Would this be a correct observation or are they very different phones?

  • I have this phone but the 8300 and in AT&T. What are some features for this phone?

  • Thinner, nicer keyboard, much better display, WiFi, GPS, BlackBerry OS 4.6

  • Oh thanks.
