Wax does leave your skin more dry, but that's what lotion is for.

With wax the hair is removed from the core instead of cutting it off like a razor. When the hair regrows it is much thinner and doesn't grow back as fast.

Razors also darkens your skin :(

At the end of the day, shaving is just quicker and easier, while Waxing takes time and effort for the process :/

hair grows at a steady and consistent rate on your body. The root of the hair under the skin doesn't know its been cut outside the body so shaving it won't signal it to grow in thicker. And why would it anyway?

Its like the other fallacy that cutting the hair on your head makes it grow faster. You just notice hair growing more when its shorter compared to when its long.
