I recently saw Blade Runner Final Cut and was immediately blown away by the masonic/illuminati sybolism.

The movie is a difficult one to digest... until you figure out the themes and symbolism, and watch it unfold, visually.

It opens ups in an Orwellian/ Brave New World.

The slaves discover the situation around them and ultimately destroy the Illuminated, Power Elite.

This is what Scott discusses in the running commentary. If you have the chance get a hold of a dvd with the commentator tracks and listen to it. During the very first sequence(All seeing Eye) he mentions that it was taken as a symbol for the big brother society that has developed where the world is run by a single(or was it two?) corporation (Tyrell Corp).
