@BoskoDePompo Thanks for the pointer. I have now listened to Glass Tiles and agree the strum sounds really similar but it is missing the bum notes ... which for me is what makes it a special 30 seconds of sound
Hey guys I am looking to purchase this song however I am at a loss as to how to get it. I have my spaced the two composers or artists (different titles according to different website) - Dan Peppe and Jon Collyer but neither has a profile same with facebook. I dont work for the FBI so im shit at tracking people down and have run out of ideas. Anyone know how to get this song/ contact the artist?
@CHEESYhairyGASH You can pick up the original song that this was ripped off from on Mist and Mast's self titled album. The name of the track is Glass Tiles.
@mcsofserv (and others) I agree it does sound similar .. but it is only a couple of chords so a good chance this was just a coincidence. Also Mist & Mast are unknown in the UK so would be unlikely that the composer would have heard the track (although I admit not impossible). For me it is not the chord strumming that makes it a great piece of advert music but the bum notes that sync to the action.
Bummer. I was really looking forward putting this song on my mp3. :( They should totally make a whole song out of this thirty second clip. Even without vocals it would still be fantastic.
The tune sounds like it's a re-hash of "mrs robinson" by simon and garfunkel... If it's not then the composer has borrowed HEAVILY from it, since the riff sounds almost identical... I like this version though.
Following their first drive What Car? magazine wrote.... "Our verdict: three cars in one - and all of them brilliant.". And Car magazine's verdict ...."In a word: Brilliant."
"Why buy a car when you can buy a far more expensive, gas guzzling, insurance hugging, ugly, huge, monster of mass destruction."

@Timberpants you've gotta be retarded or supremely ignorant to believe it was coincidental

why get a car when you can get a land rover?
yeah that's true! but if you have the same life as that guy does... you can have a normal sedan
land rovers are the awesomest off road going cars on the world... so... why is that disco 4 going only in tarmac?
